Errol Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 This is true. Hellknight and Severin isn't free though. I can vouch for that. I'm sure they're not. I'd like to play hellknight once he gets CP. Severin kind of doesn't matter, because even if you play a Nu in California.. The lag shifts things in their favor so much.
TD Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 hellknight IS a sword. excellent offense. just dont hit him or he falls apart faster than crumb cake. lve seen severin play, he seems to know alot about the neutral. a mix of great and not so great execution which l suppose could be the fault of various circumstances. hands down, toan is the best lambda/nu player ive fought. he no longer needs to worry about dropping combos and can focus on playing the player. therefore he adapts very well. ive never fought a more slippery nu in my fucking life.

mAc Chaos Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The Golden Age of Nu players was CT. Toan is from CT too. Turntablist was a Nu main. There were a lot of great players. Let's see, there was Severin, and Pulsr. A whole bunch of others.
abadlime Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Stay Free played Nu??? The new things you learn...
someonewhodied Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I played only with friends in CT. I missed out. Didn't get on dustloop till CS1
toanenadiz Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 All this "annihilate" and "steal" talk...I don't know if I can trust you guys anymore. : ( I thought we had something special, but now I feel like the puppy that's taken out back thinking he's playing with friends..only to be analyzed and then shot in the head because "We just can't keep all of them." I'll just have to go throw swords by my lonesome.. Nu mirrors aren't that fun for me. I already know how Nu fights and my opponent also knows how Nu fights. So it becomes a straight guessing game and my gameplay style with Nu doesn't lend fights like that to be fun. I would much rather use a sub or have them use a sub so we can steal match-up knowledge from each other and crush the non-Nu players with D mash. honestly none of them are a challenge except for toan. very free. That's kinda of unfair to them since you had 1000+ vs Lambda in Extend. hands down, toan is the best lambda/nu player ive fought. he no longer needs to worry about dropping combos and can focus on playing the player. therefore he adapts very well. ive never fought a more slippery nu in my fucking life. lol. The only reason I don't drop combos is because I only do the basic combos any Lambda/Nu should be able to do.
mAc Chaos Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I miss ArcadeFire's Nu. He was like the Nemesis of Nu.
toanenadiz Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I miss ArcadeFire's Nu. He was like the Nemesis of Nu. He played the game so much. Wasn't he at like 9K games when CS dropped? It's a shame he didn't like Lambda.
TD Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 You keep dodging me =_= when will we ever play a non-subs battle? I've been asking since I got a ps3 in CSE and l told you my availability. dont even start with that bs, you know when im on, my schedule has been mostly the same for a year now. and if you dont, then whose fault is that? l dont dodge anyone unless it's -clearly- not working out games-wise. @toan, that is the beauty of being a top player. you know the basic stuff tends to be the most effective. you learn it and move on quickly to the next because you have the capability. next thing you know youre an encyclopedia of basic stuff which = one solid player. the hard stuff is kept for situational combos and/or hype.
EPIC_POTATOCHIP Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 GGs to Darkshinobizx, Rukia13Shirayuki, and Tenkiyoho. Shoutouts to the FT3 with Rukia. FR05tB1t3 BOB Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 You keep dodging me =_= when will we ever play a non-subs battle? I've been asking since I got a ps3 in CSE I'll play non-sub battles ;-;
Aki- Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 GGs to training dummy. Can Epic Potatochip truly be Yutta's first born?
mAc Chaos Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) Stay Free played Nu??? The new things you learn... It's Stay Free, he has to troll. The first time I got on CS1, I got challenged by him on ranked when I hadn't played at all, and got my clock cleaned by top tier Bang. He then sent me the message "Welcome to CS!" He played the game so much. Wasn't he at like 9K games when CS dropped? It's a shame he didn't like Lambda. Yeah, and I thought my 6000 were a lot. It's because he would stay up playing til like 8 AM with XDest and others. I actually got to play him sometimes after he had dropped BB for like 8 months, but he still would keep it close just because he had that many more matches on me. I wonder if Dourshi still plays. Also, my internet came back so I can play this game again (later tonight). Edited November 23, 2013 by mAc Chaos

But shes not all that good tho... lol
Errol Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 CT whatever. I played some in CS and CS2, but only really started playing in EX.
AchedSphinx Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 honestly none of them are a challenge except for toan. very free. Yeah, toan is a really good Nu/Lambda player. I remember playing a long set with him in Extend before I quit and went to Persona. We split the games about 50/50. Though, I'm pretty sure he hates Nu/Lambda mirrors as much as I do. Suffice it to say, I still have a long way to go to match his skill level.
Dreize Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Anyone want to get some games in with a Valkenhayn?

BloodWolF Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 GGs Dreize. I can't handle that Valk corner pressure. I'm overwhelmed. I try to IB the low so I can 5A the overhead, but I either just get hit in the face or grabbed and reset. I couldn't even CA when I wanted to. Well played. I look forward to more matches in the future.
