Nakamura? Is he a new Millia player or something, because I haven't seen any vids of him.... I have seen some vids of R-1 playing with Millia, and to be honest, I wasn't too impressed with his playing. IMO, I think he spams 2HS too much. As for Woshige and Koichi, rock on fellas. BEST Millia players of all time. I think Koichi should just stick to Millia in AC. BTW, Kaqn is a beast with OS....

Hmm, don't think I've ever seen Nakamura before either. R-1 I actually think plays well. Give him some time, and he'll be right up there with.... I definitely agree with you on that. All Japanese players need is time. I remember when Daigo first started playing with Sol. The only thing Daigo could do was spamming HS.VV......

But after some time, Daigo was one of the top Reload players of all time.

Did Daigo stop playing GG?

One more thing, Daigo's team took second place in EVO 2K6, right? What version of GG were

they playing?

Yes, Koichi is the best player I have seen. He makes Millia look like a top tier.

daigo wasn't really "one of the best" in japan, it's just a strange american obsession resulting from his placing over here at EVO and similar events outside japan that got people's attention. In japan, there were definitely many other better players. He's still a BEAST =P (... in 3S) as for the current best, koichi is up there, but I don't know for certain who could be considered the "best" gg player in japan/the world at this time. Nakamura is pretty good, haven't seen much of him lately though, cept' for a few random vids on youtube.

What I meant to say was, that I think Daigo is one of the best Reload players. It's just my opinion. Mind you, I have seen many Reload Sol vids. You still didn't answer my question, though.

Yes Daigo still plays Sol I believe, at least last I heard. I think I posted a vid awhile back of his Sol and Woshige's Millia teaming against a Faust player and N-Otako's Venom in Slash. Not sure on the vid you posted though SB. =/

Going by playstyle observations, it does seem like Koichi's Millia but it doesn't seem to match up on a couple of things like mis-spaced j.Ds and what looks like recklessness which is just not Koichi, really. It could be Koichi, but I'd say Nakamura. It matches up on the colour, although I have absolutely no idea what colour Koichi's Millia is. It definitely ain't Rena or Woshige. Edit: Seriously seriously doubting it's Koichi. Anyway, couple of things to note from that vid. At about 4:51, Millia does a weird glitchy-looking flip post-airthrow on the way down. This happened in another vid a while ago too. What the Hell is that? And Iron Saviour FRC -> FB disc. :/

I'm still kinda sceptical on the practicality though. 50% for a feinted low -> instant crossup. And whoop, yar, Koichi's Millia does have a lot of similarities to the other vid, and colour does match up. I suppose it is Koichi, but that really doesn't look A-game at all.

You're right, though I could see it being useful in the right situation I suppose. Yes, Koichi must not have had his A game on, but it's hard to have your A game on all the time in this game, or any game for that matter. So I won't hold that against him. Lord knows all of us probably have our bad days.

Psh, if he can go around pwning people with JI HCL combos all day long... Although he did lose miserably in SBO. Still, never had a vid of him doing really badly except for the Tougeki vids.

Miserably? Are you serious? Do you have any Tougeki vids of Koichi or the SBO vids of him playing with Millia.

On a side note, I'd love a Woshige vs Koichi Millia match.....now that would be interesting.

That would probably be the most interesting match of all time, IMO. Unfortunately, I doubt that happening.

Well, okay, I don't really remember if it was miserable since it was a while ago. But he got himself handed by H.H's Ky, that's all I remember. He didn't play as Millia last SBO, btw, he played I-No.

Koichi's Ino in Slash has been known to literally make combo vids on most of his opponents (and they HURT), whereas his Millia in Slash isn't even in the same ownage level as his Ino. Bottom line is, Koichi's Ino is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than his Millia in Slash. Never mind the fact that he lost to H.H.'s Ky in SBO (give credit to H.H., he prevented Koichi from pulling off a combo exhibition on him), but if he used Millia, the outcome would still be the same.

IMO, I think Koichi plays with Millia better then any other Millia user. I've just stated possibilities that he could of won if he'd play with is millia. It's just my opinion.....live with it.

1. A couple of times Zayasu was fishing for CHs with repeated j.Ds, and in some cases it almost looks like he JCs them. Frame data says no, but it looks almost immediate. 1) It's actually 2 things... 1 is the freeze frames associated with a moves stun (characters both freeze when a move is connecting, for a miniscule amount of frames), 2 is the j.D didn't connect till late in it's active frames, kinda like slayer 2D okiseme. 2) FB disc loop!!! w00t!11!
