Death be to AA 's, I have no idea how to keep him out of the air. Seems like if I try and use 4D after 214A, he can just air dash and bam, 4D wiffs. Mostly feels like the game is awfully selective about who autocorrects to who's location. Ara jumps and does a 4B right above you and his 4B autocorrects to you, but your 2C/6B/5A/ anything doesnt autocorrect to him.

A good thing, punishing his reversal DD can be done with a raw 236C, so get that damage. You want 7k combos, this'll be where it happens.

I'm told that j.A shuts him down hard, make use of it, as I have. You can often 2366A out of pesky unblockable situations, but if he has curse that can be OS'd.

 

Some notes:

 

Ignis does NOT take away the non beam hit from Ara's DP, employ 2D or 236C to get rid of it without leaving him a chance to rapid, or else just wait for it to recover and punish.

 

Air backdash and j.B can sometimes catch his corner teleport.

 

Backdashes are easy punishes with 6D>663C.

 

Led Ley spiders and other nasty critters he expects you to block, but never bell bug.

 

2C can beat j.B, but not cross up j.B.

 

j.8D and Tus can swat him out of the air if used cleverly.
