You can Hotaru Bang's airgrab super.

If he tries it you when you're in the air, you can make him eat pain for free.

If I tested it correctly, Hotaru should whiff, BUT at the same time, so would the new super. I think if you input it during the superflash, it would auto correct and hit bang, although I am not 100% sure on that fact. Just Hotaru it, and hope that he gets hit, because you are safe when you use it at the expense of like 2 magentama. Its an inexpensive, yet workable solution.

It works. You can hit Bang. I just tested it.

For a split second after the super flash, Hakumen turns around and faces Bang. If you input Hotaru in that moment, you can hit him.

But it requires strict timing; otherwise it just whiffs. But either way you're safe.

Actually I just figured out an easy way to time it: watch Bang. The moment he vanishes, input Hotaru. By the time he reappears, he will get hit.

And if he does it when you're on the ground, you can Renka him out of it.
