Sakaku Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Discuss the Ragna matchup here. We can 2C or 6A his blood scythe (214D) on reaction. Spacing is important though, if he is standing close enough (around our 2A range), the scythe will crossup, making 2C whiff. 6A still works, but can easily turn into a 5A if we aren't quick enough, netting him a FC combo. Outside of that, 236A with wind is still the bane of his existence, especially if he is affected by B lotus. He can still get rid of george rather easily with 3C. Edited November 3, 2013 by Sakaku
Kuuhaku Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 It's probably also possible in 1.0, but in the long Pre-Arc Revo set of Hazure Metal beating up on people against Ragna's Gauntlet Hades he'd always 2B after blocking the first hit. If Ragna keeps going Rachel will low profile and air hit him with 2B and you can confirm into a combo with 5B. If Ragna stops then 2B will hit him during the recovery and you can still confirm with 5B. Ragna can't do anything about it unless he has 50 meter to RC, so it's something to keep in mind.
Tari Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Any and all characters can crouch to go under the gauntlet hades followup on normal block (tager can't on IB). Be careful about when you push 2B as Rachel, though. If you IB the first hit and do an early as possible 2B when the Ragna cancels immediately into the followup, the 2B will whiff.

I thought Gauntlet Hades was fixed in the patch so that sort of thing doesn't happen anymore?
bakahyl Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I think it was the issue that Hades Gauntlet had when you were too close to the opponent and made the initial hit whiff . i am sure you can still duck under it's follow up
