only thing that really stopped me for being all bout 2k2 in ggpo was lack of time and lack of training mode lol, so this is great news for me!

Messed with online some more. I played a 200ms ping guy, I had significant input delay but it was fairly tolerable especially since I'm not trying to do gdlk combos. Played a 100ms guy and some 50-90ms guys, felt pretty great. IMO, better than TVC's online and from my limited experience SF4's, I don't think it's quite as good as NGBC's or, at its best, Blazblue's.

It seems to me that the game has host advantage. Note that all the matches I mentioned were when I was not the host.

I'll mostly be playing this offline or with select friends, but what teams are you guys using? In original 2002 I ran Andy/Mature/Mai, but now I have Xiangfei and Orochi Shermie in place of Andy/Mature.

also almost every character I am considering learning in this(main exceptions are ramon and geese) are females. why are the kof girls so much more awesome moveset wise

Yeah, I've been curious about that too. I really hope they aren't screwing PS owners out of the game too cause I don't want to play on a shit controller to be honest.

I mean seriously, when I play on the 360's "Fighting Pad" that was literally "Customized" for fighting games (If you can even call it that.), it's STILL crappier than a PS3 controller which you can buy once, not get ripped off by having to buy another controller for a certain genre, and not having to stare at an ugly gorilla's face every time you look at the pad.

I don't know why reg Takuma is getting so much hate. I like his regular form. Plus, he's really good. That down down punch is basically an unlimited parry that allows you to parry during pressures whenever and how many times you'd like.

Bad news, top tier to low : ( (Vanessa is now not so great in this game)

I hate that people are picking up K' now. I mean, they're only doing it cause he's top tier. I loved K' before that crap. I'm not interested in Nameless to be honest. King is also upper on the tier list. (Her anti-air options, strong combos and projectiles make her really good as you could imagine.) My babe May Lee is middle upper now and no longer S (Damage scaling nerfed her damage output, the combos were shortened because of the properties of when hits land.)

Heidern is annoying, but he's still pretty beatable. In the Tougeki Version, they nerfed him though. You can still super jump his projectile, it's just a bit harder now. Rolling kinda works, but thanks to his ridiculous reach he can hit you. His Down+Up Punch move is powerful, but it still has a bit of startup time in which you can hit him before it hurts you. You have to be careful about how you approach him due to the fact that his grab gives him a really good amount of health back along with his super grab. But the most annoying character in the game in my opinion? Kasumi.

You can hardly recognize when she does her super counter. (There's no real warning except for her stance which comes out ridiculously fast) If she has super, you're scared to hit her (If she does it, punish with a grab.) Her Rekka can break your guard fairly easily and she can do strong combos. Her moves also seem to beat out a lot of everything that's done. If a person thinks they're good with her after picking her up for a second, they're pretty damned dumb. She's just really good. There are some good ones out there though.
