The 236B connecting has been a problem for me. Its half half, usually doesn't connect when I need it. I think I could be doing it too fast? Another pet peeve is 5C being too far after hitting with 5BB. Any good ideas on how to keep pressure on? I have an idea but I'm sure someone more experienced can tell me some better strings than trying to do random D cancels and going back in (unless that IS what I should be doing). Yeah we need to get the combo thread going. I'll transcribe some combos I see on youtube or something when I get a moment. Man I suck at pressuring with Bang. I wish 2B was jump cancellable on block. I need something to help me continue pressure when I autopilot the scrub string 5A 5B 2B 2C. I mean -4 is safe but I can't do anything. Learning to hit confirm would be a start, doing 6C not knowing the opponent is crouching makes your day a bad one. Also how useful is the guard break attack? Overall I feel Bang is still fun. I've been trying to use bumper nails since I never used them much before (shame on me). He feels lacking in some areas but that is not my jurisdiction to claim what is good and what is bad. Looks like I need to study some matches to solve my problem. ;_____;

He's probably talking about how you can hold a button for links. As in you can do a f.D and hold A and A will come out on the fastest frame. This also works for the counter as well.

Cheapest card I got was 21 dollars and some change. Yeah the Celia II matchup does feel like tug o war. Wouldn't hurt to stop being stupid and throwing out too much. I should watch more Manji and Fate. Their sets are entertaining.

Yeah, I saw that combo for the first time today. It was insane and I highly approved. Also Celia II's teleport really annoys me. I have a hard time keeping up and actually hitting her, I'm bad enough to where I'll just face desk if someone keeps spamming it. As a Kagari player I'm envious of it. At least the ending is vulnerable, so I could delay and react accordingly. Also I should point out that I created a CC group for Skype. Not sure how long it will last but Skype is convenient, so why not. Anyone who wants in, just message me on it or whatever. We can talk about CC stuff from gameplay or just general fan stuff. Though any gameplay stuff I'd rather be in here as well, since I know some of you do not use Skype. We'll figure it out. I still wanna keep the thread alive, and Skype kinda kills threads, so keep posting! Though it could just be used to chat with like minded players, for off topic stuff, at the very least.

Yeah, this Manji combo tutorial is eye opening. Time to watch more of his match videos. Seriously, this guy is amazing. I would have never guessed that I could combo off of 2D with 623A raw like that, if I really wanted to I could EC and do really dumb stuff given I have the meter. Also I've been meaning to ask about Kagari's 22A/C (Oboro) move, apparently its active or something on frame 1 according to Google Translate on the wiki I linked. Or at least I guess that's what it was trying to say? I rarely see anyone use it but it seems to be useful (though not as useful as air shurikens). Hell, the air shurikens are used in Manji's EC combos, giving them more importance from what I see.

Alright I'll keep that in mind. Everyone here is on the same level really, just mashing til things work. The MG Hikauri armor move really is something that I wasn't prepared for. Usually if he gets in on me I'm just not aware of what to look for. Next time I'll look to see what my friend chose for his Extras to show you what I'm up against. I've been meaning to ask about Kagari's 22A/C special, do you think it could help in any of those matchups? More so Vein? Its kinda gimmicky though. I'd hate to have to get rid of air shurkiens, or one of my supers that I usually choose. Also I've noticed I'm not good at staying in with Kagari cause I tend to autopilot 214A/C even on block. The 214K's seem gimmicky too but they sometimes work if you do it right. Thought the D version usually gets me countered (C+D) when I hit a button. Guess its time to hit less buttons when I do that. Another redundant but good question is, what are Kagari's best ground tools, especially in the Vein matchup?

I got beat by a Vein player pretty badly and I'm supposed to be the guy to go to lol Still working on matchups... tonight was a bad night so far. MG Hikaru bodied me too. How are the Vein and Hikaru mathcups for Kagari on paper? I read that I can pretty much jump in on MG for free?

That's a shame. Speaking of training mode I'm finding Cthylla rather fun now. Is it bad that I like the anime intro thing a few pages back, just cause its bad? It makes me go back a few years.

Subscribed and followed. Chaos Code is going pretty well among my small group of friends (all SF players). Going to pick up Catherine, Celia, and Cthylla just to get them started, so they'll enjoy the game more. Totally looking forward to the weekend!
