zenken6 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Unit: XM-X3 Crossbone X-3 Gundam Pilot: Tobia Arronax Armor: 640 JP Wiki: http://www4.atwiki.jp/arcgundamexvsfuvo/pages/307.html Movelist [A] Muramasa Blaster: Beam Gun Regular beam rifle. Has 6 shots and charges. [CSa] Atomic Shell A nuke similar to Turn A. You only get one per life. [AB] Burning Log Tosses 2 burning logs that stun on hit. They're fairly mediocre, due to the slow speed that they're thrown at. 1 ammo that reloads decently quick. [AC] MS Hammer The X-3 swings around and tosses a Quavarze. You can hit this point blank, and at the right angle, can be hit twice. Might be okay point blank if you want to take a risk, but is terrible if you're just trying to use it as a projectile. [bC] I-Field Dash The X-3 dashes towards the locked target with an I-Field in front of him. The I-Field in front of him will also block a limited amount of beam damage. Has 1 ammo that reloads somewhat slow, so be sure to use it when you really need it. [5B] Muramasa Blaster: Beam Saber Standard beam saber, charges. Chains into a 3 hit combo that does around 170 damage. [4B/6B] Heat Daggers Tobia brings out his heat daggers and smacks the opponent. Chains into a 3 hit combo that does about 138 damage. [2B] Jumping Beam Zanber The X-3 jumps at the opponent with its Beam Zanber. On hit, does an auto 2 hit combo. The real use that this move gives is whiffing it after using a few long-range BR shots to give a quick, safe return to the ground. [bD8B] Beam Saber Stab Tobia dashes to the opponent and stabs them into a auto 2 hit combo. Not terribly impressive. [csB] Safety Release The X-3 releases 14 wide beam sabers on the Muramasa Blaster. This mode increases your melee damage, and changes up your basic combo chains. [ABC] EX Burst Attack X-3 dashes toward the target, then stabs them, doing a chain of melee hits. Cancel Routes A→AB A→AC A→csA A→csB Strategy Will be added later Videos Will be added later Edited January 31, 2014 by zenken6
sosoishero Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) Few Suggestion: AC has a supreme blast radius despite it has no tracking, effectively barricading enemy's escape route, melee unit's best friend for forcing a melee. BC will have massively increased rush speed after Safety Kaijou. Making it one of the deadliest move X-3 have. CSa has much less blast radius then Turn A's nuke CSb increases your rushing speed and range of your melee too. I use it as a melee oriented All-round unit, Fullfilling the 2500 role, those a>ac is so stupidly good for a melee unit since it maintains some speed throughout the throw. After safety kaijou, throw ac at them, wasting their boost then bc into them."Mo ganman dekinai" in your face BITCH =D, works everytime if you manage to throw the ac. Raftclans Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Is there any way to do combos with the MS Hammer?
LatiosG Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I like the suit but it feels the weakest out of all of the crossbone units. Are there any practical uses for the hammer besides combos? I found some shaky resets but nothing past that.
Skillkill107 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Noting this here for when it's updated:BC has an origination during CSb where Tobia smacks the opponent into the sky, instantly yellow downing. It's useful if you need to get out of a tight situation or don't feel like you're gonna have enough time to go for one of Tobia's more insane strings. Should note BC does NOT guard against kinetic attacks (Bazookas, melee assists etc) for those who are not gundam fans so it isn't a 100% reliable approach as Sosoihero claims here. Additionally I'd like to hear why A>AC is so good in more depth. I'd much prefer using A>AB since it's faster and preserves more momentum overall, ending up much safer for the neutral game. Additionally if a player knows you're trying to pull this, what's stopping them from sidestepping the AC and refusing to commit to a high stakes movement like that? If someone returns fire on you and start moving. Tossing out BR shoots with the X3 is too costly with how few you have. While I don't agree with Sosoishero's "all around unit" assessment due to the low beam rifle count, mediocre red lock range and reliance on it's above average melee game as opposed to simply having a decent one like similar all purpose suits.
Eriksharp Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I have played a few matches with X-3, and, for me, is the best Crossbone, 2500 cost + 3000 melee + 2500 range attacks + Kappei Yamaguchi AKA Areeee ningen ka? He will be one of my main 2500, I'm really happy, I was expecting a lot when it was announced in Arcade FB and, well, is awesome.
yaeca Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Might be useful to note that even if it wiffs, you get the charged muramasa blaster when you do your EX Burst attack.

burgerkong Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Does anyone know the exact properties for BC? I'm doing the wiki page for X-3 (check it out here!) and I'm unsure about the exact properties from reading the JP wiki. According to the wiki, it can block stuff like X1 Tobia assist, Reborns Egner, etc., which don't count as beams I'm pretty sure? If someone has a better understanding of BC, let me know. The JP wiki is here: http://www4.atwiki.jp/arcgundamexvsfuvo/pages/307.html
