No Xrd Collector's Edition?

Has there been any news about one?  I asked Aksys on twitter, but they never replied.

 

Also, has there really not been any news about a Japanese console release?  I've been keeping up with all the news and I don't think we've heard anything?  I'm kind of hesitant to preorder before I know whether there's going to be a CE or not and when the US release will be in comparison to the JP release.

There hasn't been any news on the home release whatsoever since it was announced. And if there is a CE, it probably won't be revealed until it gets a release date.

I've seen that the Japanese limited box for the PS4 has a "6-button gamepad" included. Does anybody have any pictures/info on that?

The fight pad comes with the PS4 Limited edition, not sure if there's a PS3 counterpart, or if the pad will be included with any English versions of the game

 

By the way this is the pad if you haven't seen it.

If it's compatible with the PS4, it should work natively with PS3 and PC as well. Emphasis on should, since that's how the default PS4 pad works at least.

That's good to know, but that would mean having to buy it separately online if the PS3 version doesn't include one, which will probably be expensive. So I'll hope the PS3 version gets it as well.

It would almost certainly be sold separately, but I hope they make Xrd-branded sticks. Preferably a single model with a PS3/PS4 compatibility switch.

Ps4 devices are backwards compatible with Ps3, just Ps3 devices aren't compatible with Ps4

They're not fully compatible, you can't use the home button.
