the last reply from anyone other then myself was on april 14th!

A majority of people do not have arcade's to play the game so nobody has anything to say for the most part.

Come console release this place will be packed.

Well honestly, it's not as if this forum is the least active. This thread in particular has had a decent amount of discussion in it. I could see people being turned off by the Sol comparisons, even if the similarities are mostly cosmetic (because seriously, if Sol had Ragna's range and some decent overheads, I'd be winning a lot more).

there's nothing to discuss, that's all there is to it. all the matchup theorycrafting and shit will come later when people have the console version. at this stage, all we can do is transcribe combos and Ragna already has all of his ridiculous combos. about all that's left is for Veteru to come up with more retarded Blood Kain setups.

I think it's more of the fact that he's a really basic and boring character. Since, you know, he isn't Sol.

I'm going with basic. If any character is basic and boring it'd be Ryu. Sol and Ragna at least have cool fire and sword and soul eater moves.

If you do gatling into Hell's Fang (blocked), [RC] > Burst, can you get a guaranteed guard crush into combo of choice? I know you get stupid amounts of frame advantage off of RC'ed HF.

It's not quite enough. An RC'd Hell's Fang would give you like +29 on block, but a Gold Burst in regular condition takes 32 frames.

Eh don't worry about it. Order-Sol gained more frame advantage with a lvl.3 BHB(+40 something?) in Accent Core and that move (on lvl3) wasn't used often. Hell if at all on block.

Dunno about you, but if I had level 3 with HOS and I got someone blocking, I'd lay a BHB on them in a heartbeat. You can get so much out of it, hit or block. Of course, this is considering that you got said frame advantage whether you had meter or not. 50% seems like a lot to spend on RCed Hell's Fang on block.
