Anybody know how to handle this bitch? It's doable, but frustrating.

A good note if she's coup happy, SB knives keeps that in check.

She's one of those chars you can't really win against with footsies, due to her range.

 

So I use 236a to cover my approach in neutral, whenever she gives me the distance. 2d can help fight her 5d.

 

Her 2b got nerfed a bit. It's slower than it looks, so IAD j.a/b will stuff it if you're fast. If she's still reacting to it start doing j.236d to punish her 2b attempts.

I've fought plenty of Mitsuru's online and honestly, the match pretty much comes down to who gets the ball rolling first. Normally, you just bully other characters due to your ability to easily control the mid-range game, but against Mitsuru you want to be a little more patient and cautious in what you do since her mid-range options are much stronger then yours. Try your best to close the distance and get in close-range as your close-range options will beat hers out and her defensive options are very limited. Your projectile helps a lot in this match-up since it can cover your approach or allow for a teleport mix-up.

I really have a hard time with this matchup. Either I'm super late to the game nd every Mitsuru player knows how to bait and out right destroy Minazuki-scrubs, or I just suck. But, does anyone have more specific ways to apply and keep pressure? It seems like she always has the upper hand and is always left in a position where I can't even begin to apply pressure. What are some specific things I can do, or should watch out for as a way in to start my own pressure game?
