Skye Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Throw breaking a TRM is a glitch that was most certainly fixed in CS.
A.X.I.S. Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEbALbh1zdI double GENESIC! EMErALD! TAGER! BUSTAH!!!! LOL she rolled with magnetism! awesome.
Senaro Highwind Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Both of those comeback rounds were awesome. Very cheer-worthy.
A.X.I.S. Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGm2M--nQGg toasty... you threw out too many psychic coliders which could have been well timed backdashes. you didn't try to lure him into DPing which works alot. you didn't even maintain pressure, you 5A'd him but didn't go into 5B or 2B to catch him trying to jump out. you literally let him do what he wants. in a fight like this tech traps would have scared him, you wasted the first spark bolt and let him rush you down, hold your spark bolts more often, use it as a card to get close. if the jin knows how to maintain pressure and you can't IB, you can use that 50 heat for counter assault, i do and it works wonders since i'm not using MTW much. you needed more tick throws and 2C, oh god you didn't even 2C him, if jin crosses you up 2C trades in your favor, 2C goes even sometimes but it mostly trades in your favor, its a risky 3k non corner but you get 4-5k+ if you hit him, you didn't even abuse the magnetism. anyone else to add to this? or correct me since i suck at this.
ZhePrime Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGm2M--nQGg anyone else to add to this? or correct me since i suck at this. Well you touched on the most important stuff and I just woke up so I'm still a bit groggy, but... Too many random backdashes for no reason, which hurt you a lot. Tager's backdash is great, but personally it should pretty much only be used to avoid an attack & punish. Like you did at 2:04. You wasted one spark bolt at random (when he was backing up), try and wait until he does something that increases your chances of hitting him, because you usually only have "one shot", so don't waste it. But your second spark bolt however was well used. MTW is great in this match against Jin's jump-ins. Don't overuse slow predictable attacks on block. Example: If another Tager loves going 5C -> 5D, you could block the 5C and backdash & punish the 5D. The Jin player did something similar against you, except he used a dragonpunch. Too few grabs overall, backdashing and 360/grab helps you land them more often and even throwing in some tick throws can be worth it (like SolBadass above me said). Like after your 6A's you should've tried doing some 360's. Your combos looked a bit iffy, I haven't tried them in training yet so I can't tell how much damage they do, but maybe that could use some work. Don't forget to apply magnetism in combos sometimes as well, it can help out more in matches than 200 more dmg. Too much A spam while not enough usage of the B button (I couldn't spot you using the B button at all in any of the rounds) try and work it into your game, it has great uses.
g0th1k4 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVNKaDvdyo4&NR=1 video for unlimited tager and everything thats changed....so hilarious they even gave him a new animation for his air dash haha
NumeroGaijin Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 For unlimited Tager I find it fun to do 6A, 2C, AC, LOW JUMP DASH 2C (GLIDING ELBOW), 2B, 2C, AC for the lulz. Works on some but not all. You can even opt to put a spark after that 2B into Tech Wheel or whatever your heart desires.

At the end of the first round in the third video, that 2C in the corner seemed a tad obvious. Speaking of 2C, I don't really see you combo off of it when you counter with it. You're better at situational combos than I am though. I never really switch up my combos specifically for crouching opponents or anything like that. Also, D -> Sledge B is generally dangerous against either Hak's counters or anyone with a DP. I'm pretty guilty of doing that too much myself, but I know that one should probably mix it up by comboing into something else. Sledge A can be a great fakeout against Hak in that situation. If I remember correctly, the gap between C -> D is just as vulnerable. You have to play with that pressure string a bit more since it's not really guaranteed. Edit: oh wait, just got to the part in the fourth video where you did a Sledge A fakeout, lol. Edit again: ... twice.

Edit again: ... twice. the spinny was me trying to cross him up, at that moment i wasn't sure if i had enough time to backdash and 2C was out of the question...i figured hey why not! er the j.2C was actually gonna be a j.2C 720 but i fucked up and came out as 5C which came into a CH 3C for the loss... um i can hit confirm 2C with colider but sometimes i don't think it will hit...also i have a issue with doing 2C>623C in a real match, its kinda rare now but back then...DP inputs were such a bitch after 2C. i know i shouldn't use broken links so i try to mix it with tick grabs or doing something 100% random...but with mac the fight is really boiled down to me closing in the gap giving him magnetism and pulverizing him, strangely none of these vids shown me do that...5D>B sledge only works if he isn't countering i figure if i mix-up or delay my sledges he would wiff a counter until i settled with A sledge... keep it coming folks.

A.X.I.S. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 yay crouching loop u do it to :3 but instead of 2a 2c i 2a sparkbolt it all red beats and magnatizm hmm when i do crouch loop i use it for gimmicks, i can do it for 6k+ damage with 360B 7k+ damage with 720, i can end it with 3C or use collider but in this specific situation if i spark bolted he could have flew over my head magnetized... and haku's want to create distance with tager before getting in.
A.X.I.S. Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 i really need to stop playing online. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1fjpmrIL-Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkKFggYJgcY
Heroic_Legacy Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Decent play overall. Play better Nu players is all I can say. You got let off the hook way to often. And try 360A'ing those 5DD dash in 2C's.
A.X.I.S. Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 fuck i made a mistake around 1:50 in the dr thrilla vid, when i hit with CH sledge i could have did 2D RC instead of going for 6A whatever combo. and yes sir heroic i shall.
mAc Chaos Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Is it just me, or does that second match feel too fast? Like it's on fast forward? Maybe Nu can just go crazy against Tager so it feels that way...
Heroic_Legacy Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Match from last week. =/ Godlike Carl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxhLrTbJdfI (starts at 5:10) Looking for more vids..
A.X.I.S. Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 heroic you played real chill in that match i actually enjoyed that, just for godsakes never use sledge A in your blockstring swear to god i can't even get 360A to come out fast enough to beat the poke, especially on IB. only thing i can say was good play, when my gold is back i'll show you some recent vids of me against xbox carls.

SuperKawaiiDesu Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 i can see how sloppy i am. yucky dat onrine. Heroic do you have any way to play CS yet?
Nobus3r1 Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Since the organization of this thread blows some of these might be repeats but here's a Youtube accounts that has seventy something uploads with ~ half of them being Galileo CT videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/Potemuki
ShinsoBEAM Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 fucking carl You mentioned that was online, jesus christ I never want to play a good carl online those mixups are bad enough offline...online . Its alot better in CS now that j.2C isn't an overhead, but it feels like he got a bit safer. Plus nirvana stops sledge dead in its tracks now.
