I think Unsanc/Fugu/some others are going to MTL too, although exactly where they're staying and how they're getting there I'm not sure... MTL offered to house some of us (although in the end, we're just gonna hotel), so if you want to go maybe you can ask them how they're going/get housed by MTL? but between the guys i'm going with, we're full. sry

if it makes you feel better, you can think of it in 2 ways. 1. Plat is "unavailable" more than "banned", and we're just following EVO tournament rules (for playing on ps3) or 2. plat is banned because my logic make a lot of sense, and my opinion matters a lot.

asides from that, MAT being an "official EVO tourney" which should run and comply with "Official Evo Tourney Rules" which was linked in your post (http://mat.mtlsf.com/?page_id=68) says that it is played on PS3. All in all, I say ban Platinum. She never should have existed anyway.

wait wait wait wait wait BBCS2 is going to be run on PS3 right (listed on the tourney thread). Is she even available on PS3 right now? There are clear timing differences between 360 and PS3 version and tbh I would prefer to not have to constantly switch between the two versions. I havent been on PSN for a while so I'm not sure if shes released yet or not If we're playing on PS3 where shes not available, you might as well say shes banned. Hi MTL Incase you're wondering, there is 1 or 2 of us who plays arcana heart and melty blood competitively while a few others play it casually. Can you please confirm its CS2 btw. And if so, is it safe to say Platinum is banned since most people don't have access to PSN, or rather, would not want to be on PSN until the current state of things lighten up. Thanks.

IB was nerfed, does that help? I dont think the A's were nerfed. Oh, and Vivace A was nerfed, no longer full invin only head/body so you cant use it to get out of stuff... if you used to do it...

oh that. its weird on "thinner" characters, happens a lot when you do the 5B->6B->623C->2C->236A->7jB+3D->9djC... on bigger characters you can do dj8jC which works easier (well, on big characters anything work lol) It feels like the 3D needs all 4 hits to hit for that to properly work. Something along the lines of the 3D hits dragging them towards Nirvana, so if you get all 4 hits, they're closer to Nirvana, and further from Carl, so the j2C won't hit behind them. For that specific combo I said, try to move Nirvana forward a little somewhere in between the 2C and 7jB... thats all I can say... Its crazy hard because I'll either get Brio from moving forward->236A, or 6D, or 8D, or some other crazy stuff... If anyone has a good way of doing it plz post

you might be holding 1 for too long making nirvana push them under you. Most of the time, you should only be moving nirvana during the j2c to prevent that from happening...
