to get that to combo, (currently) you need Nivana to do 2D before/at the same time you do j2C. (currently) Outside of starters, you probably don't have that situation, so its hard to say. And since, if you're in allecan 5C situation, might as well go for volante/4D. J2C allecan 5C jB 2D might work, but probably will knock them too high for 2D to hit, might as well go for 8D. Its hard to say if you'll ever even get into loop combos with the 3C changes, they gave it the back the CS float (so no more 3C jb jc 8d potential?) without the knockdown (so maybe you cant even do 3c j2c)...unless you go for 623C 2D/8D starter...

The difference is, when I solid play, I lose 2 rounds, but when I troll play, I win 3 straight

um... i thought Brio was completely air unblockable in CT like 8D... I'm pretty sure because I was bitching about it when CS first came out how Carl lost a zoning tool... and to quote zong's CS changes from the strategy thread (since i dont ever want to dig out CT to test lol) I mean like... "barrier guard blockable" being a change must mean something right? But uh, while I like the change, its kind of stupid... because now you have airthrow -> brio loops (depending on how far the knockback change is from Brio) so unless they play with the hitstun of the move... you're gonna get corner (maybe even midscreen) airthrow infinites...

The close version of the 2C CH on arakune is pretty stable I find... assuming you won't somehow punish 2C with 2C at far distances. i know because i'm always in "omg check out my execution" mode and feel good about it coz it works
