anybody who gets decent damage off random hits is automatically good against Carl. I don't see anything wrong with Carl's matchups. If i had to change anything, i'd make Hazama, Ragna, maybe even Arakune 5.5 in their favour. Arakune 5D > Carl Heres from experience arakune: 5A(blocked)->5D Option 1. 5A the 5D -> couldn't reach, CHed T^T Option 2. backdash the 5D -> shitty backdash, caught in the air into jACD T^T Option 3. Gear super -> trades... sometimes beats it before it comes out T^T Option 4. vivace -> actually hit me out of it T^T Arakune backdash > sandwich pressure T^T Arakune air throw -> instant curse > predictable j2c crossovers T^T Arakune 5C > any jump-in Carl has T^T Arakune cloud > Nirvana since it no longer has hit properties T^T Arakune with curse -> any hit > Carl's life T^T fuck you Kousaka T^T or maybe i'm just scrub T^T

its true, GG takes more effort to win, if you fucking play low tiers. Someone tell him how K2 raped last night by trolling people with jHS, 6P, and IK. I completely agree with you on playing harder games and feeling better about it, but I cannot stand the bullshit characters as I've mentioned 50 billion times. This is practically K2's rage post on rachel except on all the mid-low tiers in the game when you are up against top tiers. they're both good games and GG is the better one, but you can't be blind and say that GG's rewards for the top tiers for doing the most stupid things are idiotic. I dont know why this thread turned into hate thread lol, but I guess it sparks some fire.

you can tell when a player knows better matchups in GG because BB is nowhere near as matchup intensive as GG lol. When you have a tech system like BB, then the originality of the character that GG has (one of which i think is a different oki/pressure game/type from every character) isnt shown as much since people can get out easily. GG's combo filler differs from people to people (im assuming u mean players) because GG's good combos all do relatively the same damage. Slayer can do anything he wants and it'll be the same 50% damage. There are better combos, but because knockdown is so important in GG due to forced oki you usually choose the KD combo... not to mention the hard combos are really unstable and hard to do... Whereas if you want good damage in BB, its only that combo most of the time. its a different view, BB you react and change your combo based on how it starts off. GG, you do your combo so the end result is the same. regardless, i think they're both good games. I play BB now because im too old for GG and don't want to think when i play and just press buttons and win. I can't do that on GG because i play mid tier. Actually the problem really is that every one else plays top tier, the top tiers that I think its stupid. ie, Potemkin, Slayer, May, Testament. Those 4 I have big problems with because they're so fucking auto pilot. Eddie, Jam are stupid top tiers but they require some effort. Fuck you jabir, don't MSN me about this coz i know ur lurking my post lol.

GG has been nobified ever since AC came out, i don't know why everybody is so unhappy about this announcement. I actually disagree with the statement about BB combos and GG combos from asdf lol. BB combo system has a lot to react to, what you started off, the type of counter hit, etc... If i start a combo with A, i end my combos short, if i start it with FC, i do a special FC combo. whereas GG is always the same combo, land BBU, do the same combo. Land random hit, go into BBU, do the same combo. I play robo ky, land anything -> 2S 2D. land anything that bounces -> air combo. May, land jHS, dolphin loop, land 2D, dolphin loop, land OHK, dolphin loop. I think why you have that feeling is coz you play ragna, who doesnt need to react to anything because his combos actually work regardless of what you start off with lol. But GG's system definitely gives more freedom and variety to the player. But its because this freedom that nobody knows how to play the game because they can't figure out what is right or what is wrong.

Carl combos go on forever, but a few things that I tend to keep in mind is... Avoid having 5A,2A,2B,6B in your combos because they have high hitstun proration. 6D as well... probably don't even bother doing for loops if you've already done 2 6Ds Try to use 8D as late as possible and as least as possible as it prorates hitstun like crazy... 8D's same move proration is also really bad... Try to have 1 of every Nirvana move to avoid same move proration as much as possible (As Isuyaru has done in his combos) Go in training mode and play around with doing different loops off the same starter and you'll see what i mean But pretty much, you have to be able to react on how you landed the hit to start the combo and what to follow up afterwards... eg... if you start with A's, might as well go for resets because you're not going to be doing much damage regardless. IMO playing carl is a lot about reacting to what you get and get the best from it... actually i guess thats just playing the game lol. Dio no combo carl ftw

The CH isn't really necessary... I'm assumign you're already in NOC 1. instead of 2b>3C, use 5C>3C, just delay the 6D a bit if you're having troubles with that. 2B takes off hitstun proration by a lot, you're probably screwing yourself of 1 2D loop by using 2B. Also damage proration is better from 5C i think. 2. Instead of 5C volante, try to get the j2c>allecan>5C>volante down, thats more damage right there. 3. If you can get the j2c>allecan>5C down, its probably better to use j2c>allecan>5C>jB>8D or j2c>allecan>jC>jC>8D after your volante loop 4. If you get #3 down, you can probably go for 1 or 2 more 2D loops 5. End with j2c allegretto 8D for oki. so your whole combo with all the above is something like 5B>5C>6D>vivace A>5C>3C>j2C>jC>2D>j2C>allecan>5C>volante>j2C>allecan>5C>jB>8D>j2C>jC>2d>(j2c>jc>2d maybe)>j2C>allegretto>8D>214214D if you get the 2 hit 8D I think thats the combo i do... or at least aim to do lol.

I wasn't playing because I had my coin down the whole time and everybody kept going and since I play so much and stay late I decide to let ppl go ahead. TBH I rather CS2 was never announced because so far the changes sound like the game is gonna get worst than it is right now. Asides from that I had 6 tokens for the whole night due to horse racing lol. I already raped roldy with caruru that's all I need to do for the night So he can't shit talk me ^_^

theres also B+C > 22D > vivace A > 7 iad j2c jc 2d or even B+C > 22D > vivace A > walk towards opponent a bit > 9j2c jc 2d I don't know what maximizes damage.

Arakune jump start up is faster so hes considered "airbourne" faster but his initial vertical velocity is slow. You can only airdash only after you've reached a certain height. This is true for all characters. That is why you actually need to delay the airdash a bit for arakune to reach that height. So try doing it slower if anything. The above is theory made up by Pui and has no official backup

i taught leo how to play tager yesterday and he quit bb after watching my tager pretty much. pretty much all the "pui just presses buttons and gets hits" became "pui just spin sticks and gets 360/720s" Please understand.

Only time i even bother to do 4D is if I get it off a throw lol. And then i usually regret it because I'll probably fail and pay for it =( Otherwise, volante allecan jbc8d/5cjb8d is the way to go lol. Although off certain combos, you can't even do that... you need to do the j2cjcdjb8d... regardless... the point is i can't do my combos lol. sadface =(

I like hearing you complain about boring matches when you play May and do jHS all day. You also alt Axl and do 5P/jS/whatever all day. Way to go CC.
