  1. "Now's my chance!" You just beat Makoto to a pulp, dood! lol
  2. Everyone's Astrals in English, for starters.
  3. lol Ragna is either hammy or pissed. And I knew he was gonna shoot insult names, especially at Hakumen.
  4. I can't tell whether Amane or Kagura is the bigger narcissist. lol "Damn, I look sexy."
  5. Goddamn. Anyway, where's the video highlighting Sena!Platinum? Unless you really meant Trinity!Platinum.
  6. ... Did I miss something here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfw2kSR3Ks4
  7. Part of me will always say otherwise until confirmed. I actually PM'd Erin via Facebook. I know she can't answer, but she implies that she's in this game. So I have no idea what to believe. Congrats, Amanda C. Miller, for becoming the new Matthew Mercer (one who can sound eerily similar to Troy Baker).
  8. I guess Aksys wants to lampshade the assumption that she looks and pretty much fights like a monkey. Nope. Intentional.
  9. There's no footage of any Azrael Wesker beyond him being the training dummy yet.
  10. I'll admit, I came into Blazblue's story mode believing that Hazama was 100% Doug Erholtz (and I know a lot more people did as well). Despite knowing that he wasn't Hazama in CT or pre-Extend CS, when I don't take the fact that he sounds eerily similar to Doug into account, Erik was indeed still a very good Hazama. And now that Doug is the clear replacement, I'm not at all bothered by it because I still thought Hazama sounded like him in the first place. Hell, this characters screams "green-haired Ichimaru." So yeah, props to Erik while it lasted.
  11. Must be a mishap or it never existed. I wouldn't be surprised if not all voice sets were made or implemented before the Japanese release.
  12. And now Amane is truly a descendant of Zhang He. Also I'm quite satisfied with Grant George. Also, "I'M WAITING FOR YOU TO SUCK LESS." *whistles*
  13. It's not based on the amount of licenses or the licenses themselves, this is what Funimation does, limiting their streams to most NA borders. And since they're the only ones streaming this anime right now, well...you get the idea. My gut says Danganronpa, seeing as the game already has the Bang!Zoom cast set, yet Funimation has licensed the anime. A dub of Blazblue is almost too soon to be true...
  14. Thought of this idea for quite a long time. A Yatagarasu character to draw more connections to the Japanese mythos in the game, such as being Amaterasu's personal observer and being the Sun to Rachel's Moon. I.e. he's her spear counterpart that, as far as gameplay is concerned, has a similar concept that's still drastically different. I'll name him Allen Croe for now. References: Rachael with a dash of Wallachia Playstyle: Evasion and set-ups. Allen Croe's relatively low normal damage is complemented by his ability to abuse traps and mines (in the form of crows and instant runes) while having teleports, evasive counters, and pressuring normals akin to Wallachia. All these combined creates a character that can be nearly uncatchable and can earn you good damage from combos the moment you catch your opponent. However, all (but one) traps have a time limit for which they eventually disappear. A rather short time limit. How does our little raven compensate for this? With his Drive, of course. Some specials: One special of note is the Sword Iris counterpart. Croe summons a rune on the ground with black feathers encircling it. The distance of which the rune is cast varies on the buttons A, B, and C. Simply inputing the command has the rune activate and unleash a small burst of wind with small damage and hitbox. Holding down the associated button after the input will leave the rune on the ground that lasts the whole fight. After that, a 22A command has these runes unleash a small tornado at once. Drive: "Third Leg." Instead of a Drive that blows traps across the field, Allen Crowe can just warp them back and forth across the stage, except for the ground runes. You can even teleport them as soon as you cast them. You hold still for a bit when the Drive is used (unlike Rachael who can uses hers instantly), you can teleport traps a finite number of times w/ cooldown, but what this means is Crowe is allowed Drive Specials. I'll stop here for now as I'm leaving it unfinished. Or just leave it the way it is. Tis an idea, after all.
  15. It's contextually mature content I'm talking about. Even kids can (but not always) see past the grotesqueness of content they see and find them ridiculous, but it doesn't change the fact that blood and guts spewing from MK fatalities on screen is practically mature content that aren't meant to be seen or played by kids in the first place, hence why the KA rating is dead. You're looking at philosophical maturity, I'm talking mature content as far as the ESRB is concerned. Blazblue isn't all that grotesque in blood nor language, so it does not, at face value, contain mature content. Whether it's philosophical mature in its story and characters is different matter.
  16. Of course Ragna is gonna make due himself and kick ass, I'm simply saying nobody gives a shit about him except Rachel, the only one who needs him to be an important asset. Terumi doesn't consider him a threat even AFTER getting a bludgeon beatdown because he had an ace in the whole, hence why he was provoking Ragna to kill him. There is also, again, Kokonoe, seeing Ragna as just a convenience (i.e. a tool) when he's at the right place at the right AND as an obstacle when, apparently, he's either getting in her way or is keeping intel to herself and Tager. The fight between Ragna and Tager wouldn't have happened if it weren't the latter. It doesn't help that neither parties have any incentive to consider working together (so much for Ragna joining Sector Seven). In short, Ragna has a shit ton of shoes to fill on his own merits. This is Blazblue, it would be a sin if this doesn't happen. And going back to Terumi, I gotta ask: remember when Ragna was hesitant to kill Terumi because of this supposed "Life Link" he has with Noel? The term itself should obviously imply that their very lives are connected. Terumi dies, Noel dies. So why didn't that occur when Relius killed Terumi?
  17. Blood and guts spewing and showing (overdone or otherwise) is guaranteed mature content, even when some of them are, in fact, comedic. If it isn't, the M rating might as well only classify the goriest of the bunch like Also, it's not about swearing constantly, but swearing at all, and which words the rating systems accept. Say "Fuck" even once and *bam*, M-rating (close call, huh Makoto?). Hell, it's an interesting turn that there are T-rated games where characters say "shit."
  18. And oddly enough, Hakumen's still to stubborn to consider that maybe, just maybe, take the "enemy of my enemy" approach with Ragna. I could care less if he backstabs him afterwards. And yeah, Ragna's still considered a maggot to Terumi and a convenience/obstacle (can't decide which) for Kokonoe. He'll never be taken seriously. Aiya...
  19. A whole new Murakumo unit. Or just some stronger Nu-13. I'm calling both of these.
  20. Booo. I actually like the last design. A little more fearsome. Not that the real deal isn't a looker herself. She technically has six eyes with that mask on.
  21. Though I thought Arcsys or Aksys said themselves in an interview that there won't be DLC characters at all in CP.
  22. Glacius Ooze, ladies and gentlemen. Also:
