According to ASW's twitter, Terumi is no longer a preorder bonus. He's now a first print bonus, however if you miss out on the first run of copies then he won't be available unless you purchase him as DLC. This comes as a follow up to a tweet promoting a TV show that will be promoting BBCP, apparently he is still introduced as a preorder bonus on that show.

Yes, it has started. No, apparently Sho isn't playable in this loketest.
-
That's not what he was asking. And the arcade version totally had story... like 1/3 of the main part and absolutely no fluff.
-
About Dan ranking and PSR. Dan Ranking is player-specific skill rating. PSR is character-specific skill rating. Shadow-type characters count as separate characters for purposes of PSR.
-
You can thank the anime for that.

Eh, aren't they going to be "purple-names" instead in CP? http://blazblue.jp/cp/net_ps3.html -
Uh... can you please just do the latter? I don't want a thread that begins with posts taken from another, no longer existent thread. I'd prefer the new thread for consoles to start completely fresh.
-
Apparently he's entirely new. He's also voiced by Kenichi Suzumura, husband of Aigis VA Maaya Sakamoto.

Looking at the test player's guild for the upcoming loketest, they appear to have switched to using dan rankings like in BBCP, but it's in addition to PSR. PSR and Dan rankings at the same time... what?

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion

Correction: Dengeki PlayStation releases twice a month (on the 2nd and 4th weeks). -
Normally Terumi's drive attacks give him lots of meter while giving none to his opponent; essentially only stealing their meter gain and not their actual meter. In OD, they actually steal meter.

Dengeki FIGHTING CLIMAX: Announced at TGS.

Which one? Mikoto? 10032? Worst? -
"Contextual maturity" is not real maturity. "Mature" ratings exist not because the content is actually mature but because it is not considered appropriate for people who are emotionally immature, only the emotionally mature. It's in reference to the appropriate audience, not the actual level of content. On that matter, swearing has absolutely nothing to do with any sort of maturity, philosophical or otherwise, and is more a modern perpetuation of the middle age idea of the "peasant's tongue" being uncouth and disgusting language in comparison to the aristocrat's speech. Swearing being considered either immature or mature is comparable to science and rational thinking "corrupting the youth", though admittedly just swearing for the sake of it is totally immature since swears are basically forbidden and it's an attempt to be edgy.

What? No, the life link means that in order to permanently kill Terumi, he'd have to also kill Mu and make sure he killed them both simultaneously. If Terumi dies while Mu still lived, Terumi would just come back to life and vice versa.
-
Oh no, when it's overdone then it's not what I call mature content, more like content for mature individuals who are capable of recognising how immature it is. Mature content is more like realistic consequences in a world where characters have realistic motivations, regardless of how fantastical the world may seem. Nothing about BlazBlue or Mortal Kombat strikes me as mature.

So? A month is soon in console patch time because of shitty certification periods and they also had to fix that glitch where sometimes when playing online with Makoto it'd use the glitchy on-disc test character with Ragna sprites.
-
Was a glitch and was patched out fairly soon after release.
-
Mu, Makoto and Valkenhayn were on consoles first. Valkenhayn was pretty broken on release, the other 2 weren't so bad.
-
I don't think Mori ever said that, and I think SxB was making a Guilty Gear joke (GG to GGX to GGXX to GG2 to GGXrd).

Ishana = Hepburn romanisation. Isyana = Kunrei-shiki romanisation. That's how I look at it. They are both the same; use whichever until localisation decides on which, though if the the localisation team is smart they'd go with Ishana because Hepburn romanisation is more compatible with the English phonology. Edit: Looking back at what it looks like where the name "Ishana" came from, probably should stick with Ishana regardless of romanisation methods.

Some guy over in the JP BBS story thread reported that the stage you guys are referring to has "The 0th Rune City ISYANA" as its location.

Yes, it sure looks like it. I found more info. Has info on "more than 10 added characters". Hmmm... We're looking at a lot of new NPCs in BBCP, though most of them are probably in the Six Heroes story. Interestingly it claims the story is 40 hours long when current info pegs it at around 30 hours.
