Went to ACEN a few months back, it was cool and I had fun. Glad I got the Military Discount when I did, only paid 32 bucks for a weekend pass, that was amazing! Right now, I'm focusing on Youmacon since it's in my hometown (Detroit, MI) and the venue is going to be twice the size it was last year (and last year was huge)! I really can't wait to go this year because AXIS and I have to defend our tag team championship in BB and I need my Salty Runback with Chaos_Kalibur for BB Grand Finals.

Is it still a broken mess or did the patch fix it's issues?

Next month, I should have it. Hopefully sooner.

I need to invest in XBL Gold and Internet. the only stick I have access to is on the 360 but even so, I don't have internet. I lose either way... Anybody watch the EVO stream last night? KOF Grand Finals were hype as hell!

I was thinking of Dante but you along with 8 others @ NC and my bro even told me to play Vergil. I think thats a huge clue LOL! It looks like there's a good chance I'll be able to head down to Ignite tomorrow and play. If any of you guys are goint go be there tomorrow evening, I'll show up as long as things work out @ the school tomorrow.

I've been looking into Cap/Wesker/ and someone to fill in the last slot, that I don't know, but to fill you in, this is my list of main/sub for the list of games I have played: BB: Jin/Mu/???(Secret Summer Jam Sub lol) GG: Johnny/Sol/Chipp SSFIV: Rose/Ken 3S: Alex/Ken KOF: Kyo, Shen & Leona (sometimes Ryo) VF5: Jackie T6: Murdock/Jin MBAACC: H-Akiha/C-Ryougi Any other game, I have little to no knowledge of how to play. What Sen says is true, I have not seen him rage in a game, though NC was a close call lol. What I rage about is dropping combos that cost me the game/round so thats more of a self-inflicted rage, none toward the other player.

You're of equal footing with me when it comes to the scene so don't concider yourself a co-anything, you're a big time player bro! About SJ6, no need to rush, these bastards haven't sent my check yet (they claim they have but it hasn't come in yet...)! So now I have to wait on the 11th so they can resend it again, but since I have an account with them now, I just hope they drop the cash in my bank account instead, I'll get it at a much faster rate if that's the case. In any case, I should get it before August so Chaos and I are still down and I'll pay you up front when I have the money on hand the next time I see you. I prefer TE madkatz but as of late I've been forced to play pad. I'm equally skilled on both but I do have a preference.

Sen, thanks for stepping up and helping Blinky out, like I said, this month is looking bad for me so I probably wont be able to join you guys but as long as the majority of the scene can get together and play, it's all good.

I can't do anything personally this month because my pockets are hella empty due to rent, grocery shopping and school payments, unless I get my check in the mail that I've been expecting, I won't be doing anything soon. If you guys can organize a meet up and get some games going, that would be cool, just don't expect me to be there this month... Sorry.

We did go to ignite at first, the issue with that was that we had a few younger kids in the group that couldn't make it out to their monday night meetups. I'm all for going there too if othere want to, its just that some of us are young (well, those guys haven't shown up to a single casual...) and some of us work during the week so Monday wasn't that great of an idea at first. I'm willing to go to Ignite for casuals on monday when I get my hands on some money, especially since ignite is so much closer to me. The thing that attracted most of the people here is that Nickel City's venue is only $2 while Ignite charges $10. I've also been to Galloping Ghost too, their meet ups are on Thursdays and I personally can't make it due to classes on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Now if those days are better for you, I'm all for spreading out and trying the new venues, don't let someone elses schedule stop you from playing with others or finding others that are willing to play @ those venues.

Well, my apartment is hella new and I'm bairly making it but if you're about to be out on the street I can't allow it. If you can make it out here to Chicago, you have a place to crash here. It's pretty poverty here ATM but I do have a futon you can crash on and it's better than the street.

Welcome abord xero, glad to see that another player is coming out and posting in the Illinois thread of Dustloop. Believe me, you're probably a lot better than you give yourself credit for, SenXXi had the same mindset coming in here too and frankly, he's one of the better Lichi's I've faced. We usually gather at nickel city once a month but due to it being the summer season, we've just been discussing whats a good weekend to go. As of late, we've just been going up there on weekends we're aavailable. Once again, welcome to the scene and hope to see you at the venue soon! OH goodness, you main Platinum! This should be fun. I hope I can get internet soon because life w/o it is boring!

On another note, I'm all for P4U being at MLG (I signed the petition) but this is the deal here, we have to show up to MLG events along with other events and participate for this to work. Having it there then people not showing up is not going to make the game look bad, It's going to make the community for the game look bad. The GG community does what it can to show up and stay strong but the BB community has not done so hot in this area and that needs to change if we want the game to be successful. I'm glad that people are signing the petition, it shows we are interested but we've gotta show up to the events as well otherwise P4U is going to fall just as BB did. I cannot make it to every Major nor every MLG event and the money I earn only allows me to show up to at most 3 majors a year if school doesn't conflict with the scheduling so I will be attending at least one MLG event a year, and 2 majors (Sorry, that's all I can afford). So please, do what you can and not only sign the petition, but to Show Up to the events as well. Showing up has more value than signing a petition. Signing the petition is a steppingstone for P4U, showing up to events is what will keep P4U alive.

The good stuff always happens after I leave because I rely on public transportation. Can't stay the entire time to play when a game I play is broken out Oh well, one day I'll b able to stay lomger than 10:30.

Thats sad when California is cooler than Illinois... I blame Global warming. Anyway, I'm going to add all the text into into the editing program for the tutorial in the morning, I may not be able to record but I can still do this much. This is gonna take more time than I thought.

*Update* My recorded died on me today working on the Jin Tutorial, but I found out its an overheating deal (it was 103 degrees when I was recording...) but yeah, a slow down on recording but my stuff still works. I was told not to use it for at least 36 hours so that sets me back a bit but after that, I'll be back on it.
