I'm sure they'll have it fixed by US release. Calamity Trigger had the same issue at first but over time, they fixed it and it's netcode was GDLK. EDIT: I also got word that someone will be bringing their 360 and copy of P4U at Ignite this Monday. HYPE!

[CSE-CP] Jin Players List and Availability Information
Chris Chaos replied to Chris Chaos's topic in Jin Kisaragi
First Post Updated. Sorry about the long break, I should have been keeping an eye on this thread more often. I've erased the extend availability since everyone seems to have it now. If there is anything wrong with the front page (ex: location change, availability change), let me know and I'll get on it. Jyousa, I've already updated your state to California since I am aware of your move. -
[CSE-CP] Jin General Thread "Jin it to win it... again"
Chris Chaos replied to Yuushiro's topic in Archive
Yoooo... Get called out? If BB had short-hops like KOF and Persona, we would. You know you can crouch block that right? If they don't combo you into it, down back, curse failed. -
[CSE-CP] Jin General Thread "Jin it to win it... again"

I'd have to say Lambda is the least of my worries. My disliked matches are: Arakuna, Litchi, Jin (Yes, I hate mirrors...) and Hazama. Everyone else I can deal with just fine. -
@ Enigmos: As for fighting with a large item, you might wanna look at Labrys. As for fighting style; not so sure. Labrys would be your best bet though.
-
Have you seen Naoto's SMP combo? It's pretty simple and that alone will attract players (though they may fix this by the console release). Not only that but the concept of how her Skull Count works will garner interest too. Don't turn away from a character because they are popular, play a character because you want to play them. I mean, if I did that, I would not be a Jin main.
-
Yu, Mitsuru, Aegis and Naoto are going to be the common characters in this game.
-
Coming out of anime fighter retirement? LOL JK! This is gonna be hype! I'll add you on PSN and you already know we've gotta play one of these weekends at Nickel City before the tournament.
-
This is the kind of mindset that sets yourself back, you know why I know? Because I was there. I always wanted to be better than I am; in fact, everyone does. This takes time, no one becomes a killer in fighting games overnight it takes months, even years before you can get to a certain level of play. If you're doing what you say you are, then you may be progressing in skills w/o even knowing it if you are playing the same people, wanting to get better is a drive and a motivation, it's nothing you can obtain with a night of training. Don't rush what takes time to develop, get in what you can, learn from your mistakes, hit up training mode and that will make you stronger. In the words of a Champion: "I hated every minute of training, but I said 'Don't Quit. Suffer now, and live the rest of your life as a champion." ~ Muhammad Ali.

Understandable, as i said before, I'll be there for casuals the week prior to the 18th so if you can make that, you'll be good for some Persona offline casuals.
-
Hey guys, not sure if any of you can make it since Summer Jam is happening so soon but here's a big announcement for the midwest: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?14593-Chicago-4-Ultimate-in-Midwest-Arena-Saturday-August-18th-2012&p=1361013#post1361013 I'd say for the few that can't make it to Summer Jam, this one is probably much easier for you guys to show up to. It's not a major but it's something that's not so budget heavy. If you guys could show up, that would be great.
-
I'm still showing up the weekend prior for casuals with P4U but if you guys can't make it to both, try to show up to the tournament and get this game out there!
-
@Callisto: I just crossposted the thread in the Announcement Forums lol, and well this does change things a bit. I will be there on the 18th, and I'll see if I can get my brother to come down so that he can participate in this too. I'll hit up the MI guys and see if they can make it. Chances are slim seeing how Summer Jam is the week right after and they all are planning to hit that up. I'll see if it's possible though.

Added, thanks VR. I'm almost done browsing through the videos Veteru posted, I just have to look into the subsequent posted videos tonight and add them to the first post.
-
Yeah, I take the train. The train station is literally a 15 minute walk away from NC.
-
The 28th looks possible for me as long as nothing major happens.
-
Thanks for the update Tong! I've added the combos into the thread and set them up for damage/heat count once that info has been found out. EDIT: Updated the thread with some more combos. Those that have the game, if you find any errors in the combos, post up so the corrections may be made. Also, I will be playing on Monday but since it's not a private session, I won't have much time with it but I will try to remember all these combos and see what works and what doesn't.
-
It's supposed to be 2C, 2D is already listed but it doesn't have a description under it. I'll make the changes. EDIT: Wiki Error Corrected. Also, I've done quite a bit of things in the Data thread and added the wiki combos into the Combo Thread. If you guys see any issues/errors post up here and I'll correct them. Thanks.

Lying is never cool Moy... LOL I kid, jokes are jokes. My bad for ruining it. -
Someone is lying to you. The Dark Knight Rises was amazing! I saw it the other day and it was GDLK! Also, anyone that hated on Spider-Man is crazy that was a great film too!
