Well, a round trip for me is 2 hits on the blue line ($1.75 x 2 = $3.50) and a weekend pass toward Fox Lake on the Metra ($7.00) to the Lake-Cook stop, so I pay around $10.50 to head out there. I will be there around 6-ish and I'll be sitting by the Concession Stand. So for those who haven't seen me before and show up before 7:30; I'll be the guy in a Leather Jacket and a Blue T-Shirt chilling. My pockets are too poverty for EVO especially after paying for my trip to Anime Expo so there's a good chance I'll be going to ECT. As long as I have a ride because a flight is pushing it.

Thanks BlinKy, In other news; casuals are happening tomorrow at Nickel City starting & 7:30PM, I will be there earlier than that but we won't be able to set up until after that. Unfortunately due to certain issues, I will be leaving the venue around 11PM because I have an event to be at Sunday and I can't stay the night in Northbrook. That doesn't mean you guys can't stay longer than that, so continue to play games if you guys intend to stay longer than that.

Wait, why is this a problem? The connection block is legit, I mean do I really want to deal with a 0 connection coming into my room with the high possibility of them lagging me to all hell? No, I rather not take that chance. If you really want to get into someone's room, why don't you send a PM to that person and ask for an invite to their room. What's the worst that could happen? Them telling you no. If that's the case, whatever, move on or create your own room.

Yeah, I'm currently working the tutorial ATM. I'm about 40% complete with it. Video one is almost done and Video 2 is gonna be a much easier process than Video 1.

So, yeah. Sorry for not posting in the thread as I should but I've been busy with the BB:CSE Jin Tutorial so I haven't been on DL for a few days. As stated, the event is happening on the 31st this Saturday at 7:30. Welcome to all those who are new/visiting the thread to see what's going on in the BB world in Chicago. As someone who is speaking who has REALLY good internet, I've never had so many issues with BB on XBL up until Extend. PSN seems to run smoother than XBL from my experience. When I was fighting Tsunna the other day, I was having some input delay in our matches more so than ever. I've played him in CS2 from my new place and we were just fine but now, the delay feels a bit worse (outside of net-delay). That would probably be why most people are just leaning toward PSN because though it may have it's inconsistent moments (which aren't that many), it's connections are solid this time around compared to what the 360 is offering and PSN is free so it makes me rage that I have an XBL account and I have not so good connections for something I'm paying for than something that's free. Lich, I'm glad you have a passion to let netplay strive for the XBL community so I'll do you a favor. Hellknight and I were talking and since I have an XBox, and I have LIVE for another 3 months, I was thinking of running a netplay tournament (similar to the ones Hellknight hosts on PSN) next week Friday to bring some life back onto the XBL side. I'll admit, I may not like the netcode but XBL has some REALLY strong players that are dropping out of the game due to lack of competition on netplay. If you're down with this, I'll host it next Friday: Show up, get people to enter, encourage the push for XBL and let it be known, I'll post up the information for the tournament later today or tomorrow afternoon. I'm looking for basic and intermediate combos that should be in the Jin tutorial for the set positions that are displayed in the post I have with the "Table of Contents". That is what I was asking for. This is a good conversation don't get me wrong but please, carry this somewhere it belongs like the Jin General Thread

Random Jin Question: Out of curiosity; what "Weaknesses" does Jin have as a character in BB? I really can't think of many, but I wanted to know could any of you guys create a short (or long) list of things that hold Jin back from being a stronger character?

The Tutorial isn't only for beginners, it's for those who have been playing for awhile as well.
