Yeah, the same here. It's always nice to play the game offline with people who genuinely want to get better, we gotta play more bro. I'll help you develop your game in any way I can, so soon enough you'll be beating me. Yeah, if you haven't done this already, do it. You may find a faster route that will benefit you and whomever you are traveling with. I really need that Carl experience! Man, you're pretty far out, that's one heck of a drive you got ahead of you. Half the tie Ve has but still... Well our next monthly is going to be on the 31st of March. As much as I like Nickel City, if it's really that big of an issue for travel for you guys, we can always play at Nickel City, just remember it's a $15 fee to play there for 5 hours so on top of travel, you gotta pay that, while at Nickel City you're only paying $2 to get in and if you want to get in on a tournament (that's not BlazBlue), it's $10 IIRC. I probably won't host tournaments for BBCS:EX unless there are at least 8 players there to play it, if not that, we can stick to casuals.
-
The routes you take must be different because both venues are most definitely not 5 minutes away from each other.
-
So was Ignite better off for you? or was that just as bad? If it's better, we can make some arrangements where we can still go there. Nickel City is a better venue but if it's too far out for most of you guys, we can still go to Ignite Network. Nickel City: 555 S. Waukegan Road Northbrook, IL 60062 Ignite Network: 3171 N. Clybourn Ave. Chicago, IL 60618.

[CSE-CP] Jin General Thread "Jin it to win it... again"

Just got back from offline casuals, I had fun playing this game, and quite an interesting run playing Heroic_Legacy. He may have not been playing BlazBlue as of late, but he's still Heroic_Legacy, and he showed me that for sure today. My day wasn't so bad, how about you guys? what's all this "disrespect" posting about? -
Just got back from casuals and man am I tired. It was hype, there was room and there were games played! The venue there is GDLK and affordable, a little further out than Ignite (depending which direction you're coming from) but it's worth the trip. I'd love to host our Saturday night gatherings there because the group there are all homely with each other and respect people who play whatever fighter they play, even if they don't like the game. I honestly say we should migrate to Nickel City and do our monthlies there. I plan to attend there at least every Saturday I can so for those who have time and I'll be there, we can have a BlazBlue set up and one day we might be able to host a small tournament if we get enough people to get involved. If we can at least get a guaranteed 8 to show up consistently, I can try to get the Michigan Scene to come on down here and get involved with playing with us. It will be quite a bit of work on my end, but it's possible. I got to play Callisto and we got some GG's in, after that I got to play with with Heroic_Legacy and that was something interesting. I had quite the hard time fighting CS1 Tager in Extend, LOL! I talked to him about it and even though he said Extend feels weird, he didn't say he hated it. So there's a chance he might come back to playing it if we consistently show up and play. Either way, shoutouts to all the guys I met at Nickel City. Shoutouts to all the GG's I had with you guys out there. Shoutouts to Shoutouts.

Cool. I made it, I somehow got attacked by an inanimate object and thought I was gonna die, but I made it in one piece. Damn you Haven for the Jinx!

She's not top 3 due to her lacking of/ poor defensive options. It is hard for her to get someone out once they get in. She also is not a true zoner since she has to set up to have strong zoning abilities so she can't pop off on the zoning game off the jump, which can cause problems playing against certain characters. These are probably the primary reasons why she is not top tier, but then again, I could be wrong, I only sub the character.
-
Yeah, she's been my sub since I played her during the CS1 release. I rarely use her because I have to use stick to play her properly which is one of the reasons why I want to learn stick so that I can play my other characters properly on stick too. I tried playing Mu on pad and it is a pain since I drop a lot of things with her that involve oki and such.
-
I guess this makes some sense... I hope I'm not a hipster because I've been subbing Mu since CS1. I like her a lot in extend, I just gotta get used to the changes in this installment.
-
I saw 5-0 and had to post this. Isn't he in Florida now? Or has he not left Michigan yet? @50: April 13-15
-
Why? Isn't Mu better in extend? I sub her and I haven't researched the changes but I'm positive she's a better character overall. What are you having issues that brought this up?
-
@Haven: It's just as they say: Ain't no party like a ShinSyn party, cuz a ShinSyn party attracts the cops! BTW, I'm on my way to Nickel City now. See you guys in a bit.

Tax Return is coming in next week and I might be able to get out to PowerUp2012! I just have to get the drill weekend off which shouldn't be a problem since I plan on switching over to the Inactive Ready Reserves. PowerUp is looking good and affordable for me if this ride thing from the greyhound station to the venue works out.
-
With my luck, there is bound to be one... LOL nah, I'm sure there's gonna be some mad good games going on in there. BTW, is the stream being shown there for sure? If not, it's cool but it would be hype to have that there to watch.
-
I am really hype about this but I have a few issues: 1) Work. (This can be worked out since it's so far ahead of time, not too much to worry about) 2) Ride. I can get down to Cincinatti via Greyhound but I don't have a ride from and to the station that weekend since I don't have a car I should have an answer by next weekend about my working status so if things do work out, there is still time to reserve the room. If issue one is taken care of and if someone is willing to pick me up/drop off from the Greyhound station that weekend (as risky as that is since no one knows me, BTW, I'll pay gas money I'm not an ass, lol), I'll gladly go in on a room especially if it's got GG/BB/MB in there because I really want to go to this event.
-
I should be up there around 6 or 7, I had something pop up and I can't be there earlier than I wanted. Don't worry though, I'm still coming through tonight.
-
Think? Nah, that shit is done my bro. They got teams bagged.
-
Nigga... Either way, the award went through, Leo got his tournament trophy; something he's been striving for, for like... ever. The kid deserves it. EDIT: BTW, teams are later today and guess who's Leo's partner...
