I need to step my game up if all of you guys are showing up... rumor has it some New England guys are coming too. But I spent the last two days learning stick for when I go to Japan next spring D:

The venue owner says something like... 2-3PM for GG/BB though I'm running the brackets so it's a little more flexible than that. I would've answered earlier but I was waiting to find that out for you guys, haha. Also I'll be there anyway, the venue owner asked me to show up regardless of turnout. I'll have my setups with me of course and I'll run something if at least 4 people have interest in it (wooo round robin...)

So who's coming to that tourney this Saturday? Or should I just stay home and not run brackets? Seriously guys, this is all on you if we have tournies or not... if you guys never talk and try to set things up then what's the point of all the effort we put to try and run stuff?

Location: Brain Box Gaming Center 383 Centre St. Boston, MA 02130(Jamaica Plain near Jackson Square T station) (347) 278-7314 5$ Venue Fee Games being run: -AE2012 (Guaranteed 100$ prize for 1st place) -UMvC3 (Guaranteed 100$ prize for 1st place) -KoF13 -MK9 Games being run personally by me, the Anime games T.O. (Though MB and BB can be run if there's enough of a turnout... like at least 4 or 5 and we can do round robin) -GGXXAC (I know people will show for this.) -BB:CSE -MBAACC The format for the games I am running is as follows: -Double Elimination -2o3 Rounds, 2o3 Games, 3o5 Games for Finals -Boss characters, Unlimiteds, Golds, Shadows, all banned. -Character lock on a win. Will update further when more details are received. All tournaments are 5$ entry. Payout is 70/20/10 BB will run on PS3. Post up any questions necessary. We have 2 TVs usually so I'll be bringing my PS2, PS3, and MB setups. Skullgirls can be run if there is enough interest for it.

Next tourney day has been picked! Saturday April 21st. Will be posting in Match Finder and such.

Can't wait to stream monster that fucking Guilty Gear man. As I type this I got back from Anime Boston after playing anime games for most of the day with other actual good players. It won't be, but I'm gonna look into running a tourney at Anime Boston. I might not even bother, might be too much of a clusterfuck to do so anyway. Next meetup I will get back to you guys. I'm gonna look into trying to do it mid April on a Friday or Saturday.

So BB was not run today, not enough turnout (actually, only 2 people counting me signed up...) but GG had 4 counting me. Updated the first post with your info. So I'll be heading to the venue this Saturday if god willing it's open. Gonna discuss when our next tourney/gathering/meetup thing should be. It's about time we all rise from our graves, eh Boston?

Shoutouts to the LI guys for assembling, good shit. I'll probably like never go(nah I'll probably go like in the summer if I can find a ride or something) but I'm with you all supporting the scene in spirit. This is not some kind of bump, I swear. I'm in Boston atm anyway so I couldn't go if I wanted to

Doesn't wanna put effort to learn KoF, learns GG instead. #scumbagFGplayer No no, I'm kidding. That's a shame though, would've been awesome to have more NJ/NY players playing KoF. Though even then I'm not even complaining here, GG's my main game and I wouldn't want to tamper with Jersey scene at all. A group of people dedicated to playing GG all in one state RIGHT nearby sounds pretty damn good to me. I consider you lucky for being nearby dedicated GG players and fairly close too... netplay and training mode can only go so far. As for the Kumate, I looked into it and I can't make it. Even if I had the money and skipped a class to get there on time I'd be out of a place to stay til the next day where the trains back in Boston would be running again. Luckily I'll get to stream monster that shit though still a little salty that I'm missing out on offline KoF. I need to hunt down some PSN KoF netplayers with good connections... I even made netplay palettes. My Barney Clark is GUARANTEED to incite either rage and salt or massive lulz.
