I've decided to take the Fung Wah Bus to go back home to get hype for NY/NJ at the Stickbug meeting. Now I can finally play Chaz in GG. I may bring my laptop with MB as well. Now I've just gotta find out how to get NL from wherever the Fung Wah bus leaves me.

At least my PS3 still works tek . Also time for some real fucking talk. If you're thinking I was serious about the things I was saying about BB you need some help. Tek did the right thing and took the things I was saying with a grain of salt, so good job. However if you're salty about what was said you need to man up and come take it up with me. I tried to be as welcoming as humanly possible and I went through the trouble of donating money out of my own pocket for this tournament prize and finding a venue and having dedicated space for our casuals/games. Doesn't make much sense for me to hate a game and run brackets for it, does it? Tell you what though. You're more than welcome to come by and play with us all and join our tournaments and have fun with us. If you can't take the things we say then don't joke with us. That's how we do things and we were all fine and having fun with it. While you have a point that it doesn't help the game to attract more people, if you had stayed just a tad longer, you would've heard how I got the game to be part of the venue's main tournament line-up which works tenfold in getting people to come play it, but it's alright since you posted without knowing that. My point is though, think before you speak. I'm not upset, but I feel that what you're saying is wrong because there were a hell of a lot of things working against what you just said (one of which was the reason you showed up in first place) and it does not reflect the amount of effort that went into organizing all that, nor the people that participated. Thank you. I want to thank everyone who showed up to the venue whether or not they participated in the tournaments or not for finally showing the management that we mean business. Those of you who happened to miss the news; BB and GG (and I may be wrong about this but MB and SC5 may have been added as well) to the main tournament line-up at the venue and will be posted as such on places like SRK and Dustloop alike. This does help the community tons. The BB and GG brackets will be run by me, and the management is going to handle the money. Entry fee for the next tournament is going to be 5$ and the date is undecided but it'll be in March sometime. Parking probably won't be available since it'll be a busy time. You can park right outside the venue though, no problem, if there's a spot. I'm going via train so I will pass through Downtown Crossing if that's relevant to anyone going. Though I will be going early, at around 1PM or so.

Double post. So I want to say that this free entry BB tourney will start later on Saturday somewhere from maybe 6 or 7PM until it finishes. It'll be on the PS3 though because looking through this thread we are primarily PS3 players, but I haven't forgot about you 360 players either. Hopefully there are other PS3 pad players other than myself because then I can let you guys use my PS2>360 converter. Who's confirmed to go for Saturday then? Good news, I finally have my ps3 back. So I can bring a PS3 setup. Also, you can add my PSN TrollBadguy for matches.

The events start as early as 2PM apparently, but the tourney I'm going to try and host doesn't start til later so people can actually show up. As for what console I think we have equal amounts of PS3 and 360 players. We do have a ps3 with CS2 already so I'd say bring a 360. Hopefully by then I'll finally have my ps3 back (since it has all DLC)

Good games to everyone that I played in BB, next Saturday is gonna be ridiculously hype, I'm considering going EXTRA early.

Side note, I usually go to the venue every Saturday regardless of whether or not we have things planned out or not. I also bring all my PS3 fighters and GG+ 360 converter if one of you happens to come and play on 360 (you need the game though, I don't have my copy on me). Also capsuletoyco, any word on getting ping to go?

I believe Brice, Kirbs, Leo, and Linear have good potential though.

There's a really godlike pizza place across the venue, along with a bar with an ATM in it (if you're into that thing) and apparently a Chinese food place 2 blocks up, so there's food there too. I should be arriving at the venue at 7:00-7:30.

That's for the Xbox players though. Would definitely not be a bad idea to bring a 360 with CS2 patched. We don't have a console standard just yet, but this is free entry so it shouldn't pose a threat. I'm primarily PS3 and if I had my PS3 I'd bring that as a setup. We'll work on all the specifics afterwards. The 11th looks like it'll be a pretty decisive day. Just make sure you can all show up and then we can get all the hype and really get things going. Also yes, there is net access, I got BBCS2 downloaded on to the only ps3 the other day.

Looks like we're getting hype in here for some BB. We'll be playing CS2 on 360/PS3 (bring a 360 copy as there isn't one there at the venue iirc). I'll ask the management to make sure the venue's open on the 11th(there was some trouble yesterday) so we can get stuff started finally! If we get at least 8 players, I'll do a free entry tourney, and possibly give 20$ to the winner, let's see some attendance on the 11th!

It's not set in stone just yet, I picked Saturday out of the blue and just trying to get people to want to go to the venue and make an appearance really. We'll see how it goes after Feb 11th(that'll be another day I go to the venue for anyone wondering) though, then we'll see about trying to get a regular day.

Valentine's day isn't that far away, we could just wait til it comes out stateside afterall. Anyone showing up to the venue tomorrow besides me?
