Lucifer's movelist, right here!
-
Well yeah, it's just that random phrases like that one lead me to posting random tidbits that I somehow forget to note. Speaking of which: Cirno, I think you should update the first post by removing some redundant lines from my posts, like the one about character switch, etc. Makes the post easier to the eye, you know.

Some more gameplay details and useless trivia derived from the video: - The life bar is shared by both characters on the team, as it doesn't change with characters. - Break Limit gauge is your usual guard gauge, it fills when you block moves and you get a guard break when it's full. - The gauge that you fill while dealing damage, blocking moves etc. is your second character's SP gauge, so if you want to actually use the gauge that you filled, you must switch characters. - You may switch characters by spending one stock of your second character's SP gauge. After that, your Assist gauge drops to zero, and you must wait for it to fill to change characters again. - You may burst by spending two stocks of your second character's SP gauge. - The gauge below the timer is indeed the Meta-Field gauge, which is filled with time. You may enter the Meta-Field if your side of the gauge is full by spending 1 stock of your first character's SP gauge (there are probably some other conditions I can't see right now). The most obvious effect of entering Meta-Field is gaining abilities of both of your characters. The gauge is drained while in Meta-Field, and you exit it when it drops to zero. - Ronove's ability is Counter Boost and Kanon's is Silent Attack. That leaves Virgilia as the only character whose ability's name we don't know. - Both Lucifer and Beatrice have Jessica as their alternate color schemes. - BOUNCY SHANNON BOOBS

Actually, all the supers that spend 1 bar are EX-versions of the regular specials. You may also see similarities in their names and input. Translations for Lucifer and Ange's moves coming as soon as I find them. At the very least, Ange has GERMAN SUPLEX (brace for some grappler imouto action!), Angelic Rumble as her Dance Super and "See You Again" as her Meta-Field move. Also, do note that all anti-mystery characters are colored red, anti-fantasy characters are colored blue, and Lucifer is colored purple as a furniture that works for both sides. EDIT: Wait, Ange is purple, too. Okay.

Nah, just some mod abusing his power. Indeed it does. http://07th-expansion.net/ogon/spec.html Pretty much everything there is self-explanatory, so I don't think it needs a translation. EDIT: Reposting the movelist translations found on /jp/:

The character page also gives us the "Meta-Field" term, which is the condition for performing the most powerful moves. I guess that's when the background changes, and also that it's similar to Dark Force from Darkstalkers or Extend Force from Arcana Heart. Also, Beato's ability apparently gives her infinite special gauge (quite fitting for the Infinite Witch, I must say). Really hope they will manage to keep it balanced, like, I dunno, Haku's Mugen.

A sea cat, obviously. Translating this post right now, wait for it! EDIT: The rest of the post is about EP8 and Tsubasa. tl;dr - netplay and full-voice, woo!

About the roster and stuff: I'm sure they will add Jessica, George and others (GIVE ME MY ROSA YOU SONS OF A GOAT) if they aren't already in. Actually, it seems like a good move to leave some characters out on purpose so they will have something to release on the next Comiket. An expansion with as many characters as the original game has better chances of selling well than just Erika and Dlanor.

Some notes about the gameplay which can be derived from the screenshots, both important and minor: - There are more than one life bars, at least three of them can be seen (blue, yellow and red). I guess they work the same way as lifes in Darkstalkers. - There are additional effects given by different characters. The ones you can see on the screens are Break Boost (from Siesta 410), Attack Touch (from Lucifer), Berserk (from Evatrice) and Auto-Guard (from Shannon). - You may switch between the characters on your team if the proper gauge is filled. - You may or may not choose the same characters for both slots on your team - there are no screens with such teams. - There is more than one palette for each character. Virgilia's second palette is blonde, Beatrice-style. - Counter-hits are present. - The average damage is pretty low, with 4-hit combo dealing 96 damage. - There are two versions of each stage. This may or may not have some gameplay meaning. - The time limit can be greater than 100 seconds, probably because of character switching and multiple life bars. - The amount of Engrish is unbearable. Damege? Chiester 410? Ugh.

THIS IS THE NEW CHARACTER IT'S REALLY FUCKING SUGOI NO, REALLY YOU KNOW WHAT, GO AND BUY IT RIGHT NOW. TWICE. With random shots from her scene.
-
Well, at least there are Bernkastel and Lambdadelta. Not sure if they are playable, but they certainly deserve a cameo or two.
-
Finally, a chance to wreak havoc with my god mode Rosa! I don't even care if it's gonna be Higurashi Daybreak quality, I will still be able to have some fun with my friends who don't even play fighting games, but read (or watch) Umineko.
-
You know, pretty much all of the new OP could be subbed in a similar way. At least it would make sense that way.
-
There are other Capcom examples on that list, you know.
-
That's either some high-level trolling or someone doesn't know what Daily Bugle is.
-
Same here, as long as their gameplay is fresh and fits the roster. If anything, I have more problems with SF chars because they have enough spotlight already.
-
It still has no reason to exist other than to leak the roster, and Spider-Woman is still listed as a part of Spider-Man franchise (which she isn't). Hey, at least she's not X-23.

And she doesn't have any items equipped on that screen. The move itself may be Swallow Moon, seeing that she leaves some pink sparkles behind, which mean that the move started close to the ground and took her higher in the air. -

You know, I've also been collecting all the info here, but it's all in Russian (because it's, you know, a Russian board). So, of course, I support the idea of having it in one place for reference, and am willing to help. For now, you're missing her j2C, which looks like a dramatic kick, but deals small damage. -
Same here, he's one of the Holy Trinity of Male Seiyuus for me (the other two being Norio Wakamoto and Hochu Ohtsuka). But that's not the point, so whatever.
-
Because he voices the announcer (Kotomine Kirei) in F/UC, and he pronounces the developers' names when they're shown at the beginning of the game.
-
Okay, yeah, Examu has nothing to do with TM, my bad. Though I can swear I've heard George Nakata's sexy voice saying "EXAMU" somewhere...
-
Got the chance to play it at Igromir 2010 in Moscow (without the 8 latest revealed characters, though). Don't think anything I can say would be new, so I'll just share my personal opinion on the game. It feels unsafe as hell, partially because I don't know anything about the game system. Pretty much the only defensive options you have are blocking and, uh, mashing the hell out of your opponent's combos. Which is pretty damn hard when you fight with, say, Doom and his lasers of, well, doom. I simply have no idea how to play melee characters like Felicia in an environment like this one. Hope it will get better when I have a better understanding of the system and the full roster to try out.

Type-Moon is more of a trademark owner, all of their fighting games have been developed by other companies, like Examu and French Bread.

As a fan of Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate, I can't ignore the hype for this game, even though I've never seen a JP 360 in my entire life. And I have my doubts about VN developers making a fighting game, as I don't remember the last time any VN developer made a good fighting game. At least the characters are pretty, and the chances of PSP port are there.
