  4. Alright, I figured as such but wanted to make sure. Messing around in training, and didn't see this combo in the combo thread, here's a midscreen Gold Burst combo for if you ever aren't close enough to reach/cross under into the corner: Gold Burst > walk a bit 2C > 5C > 6C > 214D (whiff) > dash 6A > :6B > dash 6A > j2C > dash 2C (otg) > 5C > 6C (3044 dmg, 32 mg) ...> 214D (whiff) > dash 6A > 632146C (4320 dmg, 35 mg, need 15 meter) Anyone want to improve it? Also, while I'm here, 2C otg works on every character midscreen right? I find myself whiffing it on some characters like Noel and Bang, but maybe I'm just dashing too late.
  5. This is gonna sound pretty derp, but what exactly are the high/mid/low loops? I'm guessing they're just the different routes for corner combos? I don't think I was active when this terminology started being used.

  7. Wow, sorry Chris, I totally thought you had left already. I'll try to get it back to you asap. But then, does this mean that Marq has my stick? Or is it really my stick at Ruben's?
  8. You mean air backdashing a lot? With mobility, just try to mix it up a lot. Instead of air backdashing, try a ground backdash (Mu's backdash is very solid). Or surprise them by being aggressive and IAD'ing with jB. Or when you IAD back, use jA to beat out their airthrow. Or dash forward to get under them, with barrier brake to kind of react to what they'll do. With Mu especially I make it a point to kind of play Street Fighter and be aware of my normals and their maximum range at all times. I.E. if they're beyond the safe range of 5C/2C, I'll use 6A or 2B. And if I know I probably can't beat out their normal I'll just use Mu's mobility to adjust my position. (like vs Ragna jC, Jin jB, Hakumen, some of Tager's air normals, etc). It might seem kind of basic but just being aware of these kind of fundamental things can help out tremendously when combined with your movement. I know I have trouble against hyper-aggressive "no-fucks" players and that's when I really try to mix it up and go hardcore spacing on them. I hope this helps.
  9. This combo sounds hot, but any tips for the IAD? Is it a sjIAD or do I have to suck less at buffering?
  10. I do something similar to this for midscreen to corner, but it's when you're behind that player starting position and can't get the SoD wallbound that I'm not sure what to do. I'll practice C0R's combo and try to stick a habacan > stuff > ender after the 2C otg or something.
  11. That's like all I can get midscreen. In the corner I can do 6-7. I'm lazy so I haven't practiced the charge laser combos.

  13. I just checked the wiki, and yeah, it looks like bomb P2 is 91, which is really good.
  14. Bomb P1 (proration as a combo starter) is bad now, but its P2 (proration during a combo) isn't that bad, you can still do great damage with it as the second hit of a Fatal combo (6C has like 100% P1 iirc). For the dash 6A, 6B, stuff, it worked in CS2 so I'm PRETTY sure it still works in CSEX. You have to be pretty sure they'll get fataled, like a punish situation, to link it after 6C recovery though. But honestly, you don't really sacrifice that much damage by confirming with bomb and you still get hurr damage and corner carry so it's not that necessary imo.
  15. 6C FC -> 5D -> 214D -> collect your 5k+ is the easiest for me. There are also other routes with 6C FC -> 5D -> dash 6A -> 6B -> stuff or just straight up 6C FC -> dash 6A -> 6B -> stuff for more damage.

  18. ^Wow I just tried in training mode and it works! The little circle in front of Mu will destroy one projectile. The timing is kind of awkward, and it sounds like a quick 236A is practical in more situations, but it's nice to find more quirks for this character.

It was nice to see some old faces like Kevin again. I had fun in Guilty Gear, felt nice to actually do FRCs and combos (and not get trolled by Brian)! I think almost everyone was there yesterday except Tommy and Justin. And Jahaira. And Mehraj. Okay so maybe it wasn't quite everyone...
  21. AC+ actually rereleased World ending I'll try to bring a CSEX setup with a monitor. The only thing is it doesn't have any audio output. Do you have extra speakers Ruben?
  22. Yeah 2C is much less derp and used for otg in combos...but other than that it feels like Mu plays basically the same, and her hitconfirms aren't that different. What's really taking me getting used to is system changes like 3-chain A limit, and CAs using up Guard Primers. It's like woahh all the sudden I only have one GP. Air laser super and air DP are so troll. So is 214[D]. "kaihouuuu......lol just kidding fakeout!" Oh yeah. I forgot about SoD level 0 no longer breaking primers. It might be her most noticeable change, it feels like her guard-breaking ability is really toned down unless you have RC or a 214D setup.
