lol it's not like you can't play 2 games at the same time. Though I'd be lying if I said BB looks "very much alive". -

I haven't had many opportunities to have fun with CSE because I've been spending most of my avaliable time studying for months now, which is one of the reasons as for why I've vanished and might still not be around as often as I'd like to be for a while. -

You know the answer already. -
Oh god, stop that. This isn't 4chan.

Uh, I guess. It's been a while so my head is confused with all those names. Let me edit it.

You can follow-up a Shooting Star LV2 with 5A on characters which have your 5A follow-up after Shooting Star LV3 whiff (Lambda, Hazama). If you want to hit Lambda and Hazama with a Shooting Star LV3: 6C>ルナスター>2A>5CC>JB>JD>2C>2D>コメット>6A>5CC>hj>JB>JC>J B>jc>JB>コロナ 4213dm 54%

I don't think a-cho streams.

Gave it a fast read and there's some things left to point out. - What he's saying about 2C is that you can still 5D > 2C, but its timing is strict. - You can't Comet oki anymore. - Makoto isn't able to carry the opponent from midscreen all the way to corner anymore - after a midscreen 2D, you just end it with aerial. - Her normal throw is special cancelable. Me and some players from my country are translating whatever information is coming. Since I'm on a hurry, I'll just paste some combos they've found out: "{5CC, 5D, 5B, 6A, 2D, j.D, 214A~A, 5CC, 236236D~D~D} - 4.526 Damage" "{5B, 5CC, 5D, 5B, 6A, 2D, j.D, 236A~D, 5B, aerial}" "{5B, 5CC, 5D, Lunatic Upper, Stargazer, 5B, 6A, 2D, j.D, 2C, 236A~D, aerial/Particle} ~4k (aerial) ~5k (Particle Flare)" As a bonus: "Particle Flare's minimal damage decreased to 200/200/840 from 200/200/1.120."

This year's EVO was a blast. Congratulations to everyone that played, and especially Spark for winning it like a god.

[CS2] Makoto Nanaya's Combo Listing and Discussion Thread
HiagoX replied to OmniSScythe's topic in Archives
Yeah well, there's no need to hurry when doing the motion. Like I said: do it smoothly. Practice makes perfect! -
And that's why every Riannon wins most matches, even though they get in many times. Yo damn, japanese players must suck at this game. Even though bad Riannons tend to have themselves exposed, that doesn't mean much when she can just zone you again for ages after getting away from you. Just like you said, she has great tools, not to mention she can deal huge damage off a lot of stuff. Oh yeah, and let's not forget about Resist Smash and assist characters in case you need some space to zone again (Yuki is a pretty good example). I've been watching videos ever since its release date, and even bad Riannons win consistently. She's just that stupid. Also lol on the premise of "if the player is bad, she's not as hard to beat!".

[CS2] Makoto Nanaya's Combo Listing and Discussion Thread
HiagoX replied to OmniSScythe's topic in Archives
There isn't much advice to give regarding this, I believe. You need to input the 2366A right before touching the ground, but you don't need to rush the command either - doing it smoothly is the way, I'd say. As for me, I input the 236 while in midair and 6A when I touch the ground. For practice, I usually go to the corner and repeat "2C > 214B~B > dj.D > 2366A~D" a bajillion times. I'm aware of how a 2C starter gives you more time to hit the 2366A~D without having the opponent tech, but it's still useful to practice the input. -
Mindfuck tactics and all. You should have enough time for a 6A if that's the case, especially if it's an obvious jump-in.

I think I've updated everything on the list. Don't think we'll be needing to fill info about her Astral Heat. Uh, as far as I know, Omni should be working on Part 2 and will be posting it here shortly. He has also worked on descriptions for all Normal and Special moves from Part 1. We should start the "Character breakdown of play style, strengths, and weaknesses" since that's pretty much what's left for Part 1.
