yep. stumbled upon this beauty after reading sigmund freud's explanations of ego and defense mechanisms... for the 3rd time x.x l thought to myself, 'hey self, do l know you very well?...' so after no answer, decided to google 'how to get to know yourself' and here we are. and it's quite accurate! surprised me too.

if you were referring to me... l cant give advice on how to be rachel with litchi, just how to beat litchi with rachel. if you were a rachel player it'd be pretty easy to help you out.

l had 400+ rq's on my d card in ct. never a red name though. but it was so weird for my incomplete games to keep going up even after a completed match, especially since l had almost no reason to rq. hardly anyone questioned me about it so it was all good, but its good to get closure after all these years.

i'd love a bigger avatar myself... heres a semi serious idea though. pretty much since l came here a few years ago alot of people have wanted bigger avi's to the point was pretty much unanimous across the entire board. l dont know the reasoning as to why it never was given to the commoners. would it hurt to start a petition for bigger avi's? was this done already

hmm, using a playstyle around reach b is a bit of a toughie... it's really only good after air combos/very sparingly in pressure/neutral. it's not exactly a great move to just 'use' whenever you want because of the startup time and the predictable positioning. so yes, alot of litchi's like not getting hit. star l really really really really really really really really REALLY think you should be watching shounen litchi. theres a big rift between 'what you like' and 'what's optimal'. sometimes its about the sacrifice. struggle today, success tomorrow... or something like that watch him, study what he does. imo hes the best litchi even if he isnt the most favorite to watch. get down his fundamentals because he knows how to play the game better than fio does

@toan, sure we can try that lol. neith char functions well without their drive so it's gonna be interesting. @cookie good to see youre getting the picture. you should try to remember this and set a goal each and every time you play. not only is it fun, and challenging, but its good for you too. you might just start getting a sense of satisfaction during/after each match! the power of goals are largely underestimated. as for pressure. this is something you can practice in training mode. try making up your own strings and be original! include highs, lows, throws, and frametraps - this is much easier if you watch vids of you char often, and to a bigger extent, can read and understand frame data.

[CS1-CSE] Road to Ikaruga - The Bang Social thread - Do you even 3c?
TD replied to DaiAndOh's topic in Bang Shishigami
@akira: asura may be a projectile for both hits. in the wiki, it has HBF attributes for the first hit and HBP attributes for the second. it might just have not been known/important all this time. for reference: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Frame_Data_(Bang_BBCSE) jin/haku's yukikaze's will not catch projectiles and freeze the foe like a physical hit would, so it's a rather reasonable explanation. still could be wrong though. best way to see is to go to training mode, have jin AND hakumen do their yukikaze's, and try to asura -> rapid -> jump. if it works then asura really is a projectile for both hits. if not... i'll be lost for words too lol -
what kriegdrache said. also, this is how you develop a strong ground game. by not jumping, you're -forced- to have good mobility, be on time with anti airs, and figure out ground approaches/escapes. this is a really, really good way to get stronger because of how difficult it can be. it'd probably be good to challenge players of the same skill until she can get the hang of it though.

cookie, can you do combos consistently? l dont actually mean anything super advanced or w/e, just small things like, do you know how to differentiate between a foe that's crouching/standing/ airborne/in the corner. it's important that you be completely honest with yourself, if you decide to answer. if not, what combos do you think you need to learn? where do you feel you struggle the most often when it comes to combos? more often than not, it's not netplay screwing up combos than it is the player. if you feel confident in your combo skills, perhaps it is time to start setting small goals in matches to shoot for (not jumping an entire round, not using meter etc), to strengthen your overall game and make you aware of all of your options during any given situation. l used to do this back in cs1, and looking back it was one of the best things l ever did to train. shit works

l told you yesterday, dont (over)think! just go in with the first thing that comes to mind. while this may seem counterproductive at first, the point of getting hit is to evaluate the situation. it's not hard to put two and two together in many cases (a prime example, if you know the foe uses tsubaki 236c from fullscreen and you got hit the first time, you should be fully expecting it in the future. people tend to subconsciously fall into patterns, and these patterns are the key to evaluating your opponent.) which is why, IMO extended sets against people are important for getting better and learning MU's. sure you might go 50-0 as an extreme example, but if you learned something from the set, you also won. you should never go into a match thinking you wont win. welp that's my two pennies for the day, off to the lab~
