  1. after the falling jb, delay the j236b slightly so that bang will be closer to the ground.
  2. *raises hand* i'm not playing though.
  3. l use L1 as the d button cause im left handed, people said R1 on the pad is better but it never really worked out for me.
  4. ggs to everyone in my room yesterday. lich, good playing you. definitely one of the best psn hazamas unless theyre all hiding lol. good shit. and ggs to my room today as well.
  5. is this still open? anyway, l figured i'd post my only relius vid in here for critique. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewI1rSamaI8 not the best play... i'd say my relius pressure is very basic. l really only focus on getting in and doing 2b 5b 6d x alot (ppl start getting hit by 2b after about the third rep LOL), and finally mixing in high/throw/other stuff after im absolutely sure the foe wont move. l still have this as my gameplan, its quite effective even now. so yeah, only the first match is of relius, the rest is rachel/litchi. up to you guys if you wanna watch the rest. and of course, obligatory thanks to zeth for the upload
  6. PSN: howling-_-moon Character: Rachel State/Province: New York Time Zone: EST
  7. sooo many people ask me that every other day lol, and for good reason. truth is, l was supposed to play valk because l liked his style when l saw his trailer back then. but l despise with a passion that hop-dash he and a few other characters have, and so after the first day l dropped him. l was actually supposed to main carl in ct! god knows l probably would have been so good with him... but alas, that hop is an instant turnoff for me
  8. well, as long as youre actually trying, thats fine. and i'll know if you're really trying in your performance next time we play. just gonna feel myself a bit and post my sig here: "A winner is not one that finishes first, but one that puts forth the most effort." and really, the concepts are very elementary: the basis of fighting games, if you will, as long as you see high/low for what it really is (an overhead or a low to keep the foe on their toes and to do good damage). this shouldnt even take you a full minute to understand.
  9. once again star, you have the info directly in front of you. worry about yourself unless you like eating everyone else's dust. the info has been thouroughly explained, broken down, and put in a vid, so you have literally everything you need to know about high/low mixup.
  10. high/low mixup is simply using a high attack, or a low attack. throw is usually included and then high/low mixup becomes '3way' simply, but because of the amount of + frames after reach b, throw will bluebeat, so its excluded in this case. litchi's high attacks are 6a(safe on block due to gatlings), 6a[m] (no followup) chun (unsafe and slow, use at your own risk), all of her jumping normals. her lows are 2b, 2b[m], 3c, 3c[m], and haku. whether you know it or not, high/low mixup and oki is where you'll be getting the most damage, so learning it and finding ways where you can do it safely should be a staple lesson for you to learn. and i'm sure you guess why it's called 'mixup'? because you dont want to keep doing the same thing over and over. tl;dr: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?8423-A-primer-on-mixups
  11. when you get them to the corner... you do a combo. and she has alot of them. visual http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBSnyJUKj2M&feature=youtu.be full explanation of said vid (post #10) http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13127-CSEX-Litchi-combo-thread if you just did reach b in the corner, you have alot of + frames to work with, do a high/low mixup (do you know what that is?). if you dont have the stick and youre just pressuring the foe, call it back in the middle of pressure and do w/e from there. likewise if you do have stick, set it in the middle of pressure also, but not from the same move all the time (meaning dont do 5b[m] 2c[m] 5d... x n or you will be mashed out, sometimes set it after 5b[m], sometimes do 5b[m] 2c[m] 5c[m]... you get the picture hopefully)
  12. ggs to boyscout and ranked. l went from 98% win rate to 93% over the course of 2 days ._. and once you lose your d-card is forever stained

    [CSE] Rachel vs. Mu-12

even when mu summons a stein, you have a full 2 seconds (117f for the small laser + n for the time it takes to get to you) to do whatever. full george animation takes a little over 1 second (65f) to complete. in essence you react to a stein summon by getting him out. also, the absolute safest place to do this is outside 236a/214c and to a lesser extent, IAD j.c range since after setting a stein, she has no access to normals unless she jumps. and if she does get wind of your scheme (lolpun), you can a lobelia in her face to condition her not to do 6c/5c or whatever. you carry her pretty far to the corner with most combos, that should be enough to scare her. dont even worry about her getting in your face; her mixup is pretty lol, and once george is out theyre gonna want to run in and pressure/throw, and you have the tools to keep her out. make her come to you, something alot of mu players arent comfortable with

    [CSE] Rachel vs. Mu-12

l actually think frog is really good in neutral, none of mu's lasers hit him at all (not even 236d or 214d). mu has to deal with him personally with a normal/236a(situational)/sod, giving you time to regen wind or possibly mount an offense. lasers hit few and far between, you have plenty of time to wind him to a good position. plus you can block while george is out. no character wants george out on the screen dictating the space theyre allowed to tread in. the only negative is getting him out, which shouldnt be a problem if you know how mu's drive works (specifically, when they will fire) l might be crazy but l still feel this MU is in rachel's favor - 5.5 -4.5 just because of how easy it is for rachel to stop most things involving steins including mu's oki
  15. ect is sounding hype now, l wanna go now or at least watch the stream. when is ect anyway. and where ggs to everyone today.
  16. ggs to everyone tonight.
  17. ggs to gigaitachi and ranked. everyone is completely blowing me up today lol. l need to step up my game next time
  18. the matchup does feel alot easier @magical symphony, yes that is a crossup OT, but this caught my attention: i've seen a litchi do: stuff , 6c(1) 4kote jb djb jc jd falling jc dash 6a 6b[m] 6d 3c 2d 6c(2) - you can extend that combo ender? cool. l guess its for anytime you thought you'd drop a corner combo and instead go straight to the ender... but lolnope combo's not done
  19. watch vids, write stuff down, practice it and take to to offline/netplay
  20. you just have to keep practicing, it is rather difficult at first. make sure tk chun is coming out correctly(you should see the superjump silhouette trailing behind litchi). also, make sure youre doing it as fast as possible so she'll recover faster. try to buffer in the 6d after the chun so there's no delay, and be ready to hatsu if the 6d connects. a good visual of this is to watch shounen, he gets it 100% of the time lol
  21. somewhere in between. you dont want to do it too much before or after the last hit ir it'll whiff/bluebeat. i'd say as soon as it ends

    [CSE] Rachel vs. Relius

l see. have you tried a more reactionary approach to his neutral game? not overextending, waiting for one of his puppet attacks. 5a stops lanto(214a), jump into w/e stops lyra(214b), you have enough time to get out of the way during tus(214c). this way you can quickly dismiss her/ get her in recovery enough to rush him down.
