  1. neo, as we discuss things, do you think you can add some of this into the wiki strategy so it dosent get lost in the future? another section we need to touch on soon, is primer breaking. mu is great at this, but (l think) we all tend to forget about this.
  2. puttin me on blast ._. with how annoyingly slow mu's normals are, l feel like one should be prepared to block a LOT, even with her clashy dp. steins dont really 'protect' mu at all, so essentially setting them outside of fullscreen in quite a few matchups will que an opponent to do what they do. so from my experience, matchup goes like this - stein (or 2) - opponent does nothing; activate/reserve steins op gets past steins -aa -block (better be good) -dp your turn soon follows. rinse and repeat.
  3. how much is transportation money looking like? ln terms of positioning it sounds cool
  4. I have a question... When playing a character that is somewhat fast, with low priority (rachel, mu), how do you play footsies? Rachel is a bit easier due to lobelias but with mu's c normals each having horrible startup and recovery, and meh a/b normals, I find it stressful to get my opponent to respect my range. Even if I psychic their movements I get beat out a lot, and mu gets bruised something serious. Should I just stand there and let my opponent in or risk a backdash/IABD in a general situation?
  5. not really. 5b 3c is just as good. the only difference is you could probably get a better combo with 2b. but you also have to be in range. not something i'd call broken, just a buff (frn...).
  6. @kodim, watch jp come up with some crazy shit like frying pan j.d, swallow moon, j.c, j.d, Dj.d. Like 4 overheads. I will just fucking lol.
  7. Ive been telling many people that for so long, its like a broken record. Everything mu has should hit at max range (well her c moves and specials). If one zones too much or attempts a rtsd style they will be blown up, an I'm more than sure ive been proven right for some of the offline players. Now that we finally know how to play mu its like many ppl aren't even taking the incentive to learn it... They're crippling themselves, honestly. I suppose its good to have your style, however...
  8. Ok, so I'll finish up the matchup when I get home. Also, plat along with cs2 is going to cost around 15 dollars altogether. It was confirmed but I forget where.
  9. I'm almost done with the noel matchup, but now I'm wondering whether I should continue. Cs2 will be out in just over 2 months, and a lot of the info is going to change. It would be pretty moot; however I definitely think we should start again when it comes out.
  10. l win? *purr* missle destroyed the bats but the cow clashed. this match looks SOOO momentum based, easily looks like the best matchup in terms of fun, imo. l wonder why shadow kept trying to hit rachel out of a lobelia in the corner though.
  11. l suppose you can attempt to break primers.... maybe l need to test that out. im grasping for straws in this matchup.
  12. pretty much this. not only was she not fun in cs1, but it was very depressing. she wasn't just average low tier, she was absolutely terrible. i'm just glad she looks enjoyable yet again and is able to be a zone/pressure character as opposed to the 'one or the other' style ct and cs employed. lf she's top again, that's just and added bonus considering she was never EZ modo by bb standards.
  13. stay fullscreen, SPAM steins. anything after fullscreen, mu loses. 236/214d is ridiculously slow. 236a is very good but you'll find yourself getting hit out of the startup a lot. midrange j.c is good all around (aa, air to ground, spacing) but that's about it... =/ do not pressure this guy plz if he has meter, which he almost always does. matchup is completely ass for mu. definitely her worst.
  14. Rachel putting a smile on my face once again. Can't wait till matsu unrusts!
  15. @death, in cs2 rachel corner carries from anywhere on the screen with 6c5d(xn), and with wind the way it is in cs2 corner carry is almost always guaranteed. In the corner she can do 3-5k (so far) and after a combo the opponent MUST tech neutral (no more delay tech to activate George lol). Her corner pressure was always good so no mention there. Pumpkin is back, George is back somewhat, neko upper is back. I'd say she's really, really good now.
  16. so dai whats the venues looking like? (or am l late lol)
  17. if not better, ugh l hate makoto's 2a. fkin beats mu's everything
  18. like what lol? she has range, soviet damage, pressure, good aa's, great tools, extremely versatile -what could she be missing? of course now isnt the time for speculation on the US side, however... she lookin high/top tier beastly.
  19. that's... disturbing, killi. :v:

  20. so she never even bothered with a name? and you dont think thats fishy? look dood you might need to go to the clinic, she could give you prinny cancer if your not careful.

  21. ...whats her name killi? WHATS HER NAME!?

  22. ok, so we ask pulsr? i'll pm him tomorrow if he's willing to help *crossed fingers*

  23. lk, i took your advice, introduced it to the mu boards, and now FlyingVe and l have been doing well with developing her matchups alot more than they are now. thanks for that! but we're a bit confused with somethings as of couse neither of us are super epic god players or anything. its not that our info is lacking but it really just needs to be reread by a more seasoned player. basically how much do you know about mu? Ve just finished ragna and we'd love your input.
