l dont need just simple help anymore, as i'm sure most of us dont. l want to know how to not get blown up offline. l need some detailed answers on how to fight each character - WHEN to do this, WHY this works, WHERE to do it - i'm past the HOW stages. l only know how to fight hazama and that's just barely. every other match i'm just 'doing this and hoping it works'. lt's frustrating not knowing anything.

can we get some experienced offline info into the matchup boards, please? alot of the suggested strats just aren't working. l know this is so random but honestly besides from combos l feel like the mu boards isnt giving much insight on how to play her, and though im more than capable of finding things out myself the only way l (and everyone else) will get better is with other mu expertise.

he stops rollouts (2a/option select jayakou), gets 50 meter with any combo in the corner, he's ridiculously safe and can keep you in the corner for quite a while... and you're bound to fuck up. there's just no escaping against this guy. oh, and he does damage now.

it shouldnt be hard at all with better gravity. unless you're stupid and prorate the combo like hell (i.e. 2aaaaaa combo), i'd believe if the proration on her corner loop didnt change it could be her normal bnb.

He was S in cs1. he got better. most others got worse. hazame GETS GOOD DAMAGE AND METER CONSISTANTLY in the corner and with midscreen combos ending in 236d it's not hard to get there. not only is this nigga top... but he could possibly be the best char in the game.

I played vanguard princess in front of my mom before. People need to stop being so suppressive just to fit into society, especially in their own homes. And i dont think plat will be quite so rare but eh. Also shoutouts to plat taking 10 minutes to learn. Regardless she looks entertaining so idrk right now until the game comes out in the us.

I was exaggerating for emphasis but I wasn't very far off, valk's damage was pretty stupid and as said he did get pretty much 4.5k minimum from anything bar 2a and 5a, unless he wasn't being played right lol.

...because she can zone better, rushdown better, setup faster... once the laser is shot from a stein it's pretty useless unless you reactivate it with 236/214d, so you shouldnt be wasting time setting these things up. in cs1 it was very possible to get blown up before setting up. but now she is less susceptible. so this is very important overall.

l agree, valk looks far less threatening now... now that he dosent get a minimum 5k from each poke ppl have more chances to blow him up. l dunno. hopefully he dosent turn into the worst char... he's already horrible against zoners...

the lasers are slower. however the recovery is better. this change is GDLK to mu: everything that works in cs2 needs to thank this buff.

I'm to the point where I skip each section containing makoto or noel. They'll put me right to sleep otherwise. Also platinum... Looking crazy in the corner. Rachel is going to have a bit of competition, hehehe...

she does look playable in cs2... but im going to be honest, she dosent look fun to me anymore. come cs2 i'll try her but i'm likely dropping her for a more fun troll. thinking between tao, carl, or ragna!

Well we all pretty much established that tsu sucks. You need not stress your brain trying to figure her dumb shit out, its only going to depress the shit out of everybody. Hell i play her for fun but honestly im depressee about it! Thats why i want to commend all that stuck with her.... Not run away like i did with rach...

Welp, there ya go. Tsu sucks. You do either 2aaaaaaa, or 5b once. Anything else is asking for a jayakou up your ass. (oy, can you imagine that? Ouchies!)

Im not too great with tsu's frame data, however im basing my answers from experience. I know that dps go through 5bb, ibd or not. Ill have to test this again though... And i believe 3c is only -3 on block? So it could only be punished on ib, and even still the opponent would only have 5a. Also airk i believe in the frame data the levels are already factored into the attack. Someone would have to confirm this though.
