  3. bbl still gets pumpkin+frog oki and a little wind. so even late in a combo, as a knockdown into summons oki, its still good.
  4. well if he could love his sister long time then l don't see why he can't with a loli. at least rachel, despite looking it is not jailbait. and who'd catch him, anyway? the NOL? because they're doing a terrible job with that as it is. lol
  5. l knew it!!!! so glad l actually saw this work. ...bbl 214a dash 6a 4b 236a(frog hits)... works. the entire combo was (midscreen) 2b 5b 5cd 3c bbl 214a dash 6a 4b 236a(frog hits) 5cc pumpkin. so bbl into frog is still in, l assume this works in the corner too and extra hits look like they can be added while frog is active so the combo could be expanded even further.

    236a eats hells fang alive. its also really good vs ragna in general. using 236a as well as 6/8/9d stop everything that isnt carnage scissors or very early and spaced well dead spike. why? all 3 winds make a lobelia safe midscreen, and prevents air approaches including gauntlet hades. the lobelia prevents ground approach (except 8d vs GH). it's a free combo on ch or a chance at sword iris frametraps/other shit. i'd say its her best pre-summon poke vs him and still very good with summons out. tl;dr a gameplan involving a good 236a strategy should suffice.

  14. it could be a few reasons. sesu wasn't using all hits of 3c. getting all 3 hits to hit gives you the most untechable time. l think there was a chart explaining every scenario involving 3c summon oki somewhere in jp. it could be the gravity change as well. everyone falls faster in this game, which would further emphasise my point above or, hopefully not, make 3c from rollable outside of specific spacing/frame advantage. 3c pumpkin still looks good at least.
  15. there have been instances where the rachel player did try to combo after bbl and the foe teching after a few hits. it kind of sucks because bbl, like frog combos have been in since day 1 (of ct, of course). and it's weird to see rach without a comboable bbl now. i'm totally not complaining btw, the new hime looks more fun because all her changes. it gets a little boring doing the same combo/variation for 4 years.
  16. with the bbl nerf it probably isn't worth the damage (without 3 poles and/or OD) or meter unless it's for the kill. when rachel can combo from bbl once more you will see a spike in better play. also, has any frame data been found for cp rachel? it'd be interesting to see the properties and proration values on her old and new attacks.

  18. delicious. thank you very much. that actually seems like what she gets in EX from a 2b, or around there, so that's good. being able to stack poles in one combo and not having to use them in the subsequent combo is great despite the loss of BBL primer breaking. speaking of the new lobelias, l wonder if 3 poles + lotus oki will lengthen the blockstun. even if they don't stack, poles lined up behing another should create a chain of small blockstuns which could be good. also, midscreen ...3cd a lobelia knocks down. i'm more than sure that, if the foe neutral techs, we can set up an ambiguous crossup with IAD (4d) iris. sweetness.
  19. l've been hoping that since the release. the sound effects do give the game an 'unfinished' sort of feel. something l noticed with litchi is that her staff no longer makes that signature spinny noise after it's launced. it's going to be hard keeping track of that damn stick for both opponents.
  20. that combo started from 3c and it only did 2k l think (no doubt from the multiple poles prorating the combo to death). nevertheless, l thank you for looking because l gave up after barely a minute, admittedly

  23. imo every bb game except this one had great sound effects. dunno wtf they were thinking. l know it's useless to complain, but still... that's really it though, the game itself still looks fun. CT and OD turned out to be excellent additions especially.

  25. her damage does look really low this game outside of OD and best starters, but maybe that's just for right now.
