I'm almost positive that the DP move mitsuru does is her R action which uses health each time but leaves recoverable blue health after you use it. I though it was her up down charge move at first but that move is called bufudyne while the R action is called moonlight so the names kinda speak for themselves. Mitsuru tried to do it once, got hit by the trap, and lost health. She did it again and hit this time but still lost blue health because it was an R action.

Still not sure how I feel about seeing Kanji command grab doing 40% on some characters but again day 1 grappler syndrome so im not too worried, though the invincibility on ex and super grab does look pretty stupid. Also on the topic of status effects what exactly does the paralysis from Kanji's persona do? Right now it looks like it stops the opponent from inputting attacks or stops them from moving completely. Curious if Yu is capable of doing this as well.

One of his win poses has him going into human form as well actually. Also day 1 Yukiko play kinda has me cringing, in the teddie match it was basically just a>b>c>agi>super. I guess players are just scared of getting their persona punished so theyre not abusing the normals like they should be, but it's day 1 so well see what happens.

For those that don't visit MM this image just popped up Apparently it's supposed to be part of Yu's astral finish and yes that is Izanagi-no-Okami 1. It's good to see that they still have the evolved persona's cause it was weird to me that they would somehow lose them between the events of P4 and Arena 2. I guess the game has an astral finish type mechanic? First I am hearing about it anyways.

Curious if they will add any other characters, was hoping to see some villains but then I realized that they basically kill every villain in the games lol. Also really looking forward to seeing some arcade footage, a little worried about Yukiko and wanna see how she does in actual matches and not just theory fighter.

I googled Labrys and apparently its a Greek word for a type of double sided axe. This fits with other robots like Aigis and Metis whose names also have to do with greek mythology. Not sure if it could possibly hint at the play style though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labrys

Im really happy to hear about dia, Yukiko is looking like a great character but seemed like Aegis and Naoto were pretty hard counters. Good to hear she has a viable way of fighting them now because if they zone too long then you get a good amount of health back and the cooldown stops it from being overused.

First few days of the game are always interesting since you get to see the thought process behind learning the characters, especially since were dealing with a brand new engine.

lol knew that was coming. Look im not trying to start anything so its better if we stop this here. All im intersted in is playing CT at evo, I got a little hot headed when i first heard the news but i accept that fact its not gonna be there. Also this dosent have to do with it not being at evo but what would shitty computer access have to do with people entering a CT tourney @_@.

I was going to go before I heard that CT got canceled and still plan on attending. Also like I said i was still considering entering the tournament just for laughs, was planning on going to a local tournament first and seeing how I did from there. Though from the looks of things its just gonna be my and my friends starting a side tourney or just entering one of the ones that will hopefully be there.

Believe me I completely understand your point but I just dont think its right to cancel a tournament for a game simply because the best players dont want to play on the game, thats not fair to the minority imo. Yes i know that logic dosent make sense to many people but I honestly dont care. Im gonna be at evo this year and im sure ill have fun watching MvC but i just cant help but think id have more fun watching or even playing in the CT tournament. Finally, and im not trying to attack in any way, but to answer your question about how many of those player would be willing to come i guess well never know now. Oh also only reason i brought up the balance thing is cause i had read something that sounded like thats why people did not want to play CT Vs. CS but i guess i read that wrong lol.

While i can understand the decision to do such a thing I really dont think its fair to the hundreds of people who still play CT because they dont have access to CS(self included). Granted im sure there will be a lot of side tourneys there and my friends and I will try to get one going as well but it just seems really unfair to say that CT is "outdated" when its getting replaced with MvC2 which imo is even more unbalanced than what people are claiming with CT. Im not trying to start anything and am just giving my two cents. BB FOR LIFE!

Hey I live in the vegas area and thought id introduce myself to any fellow players. Also I know this is kinda sudden but does anyone know of ANY tournaments going on in the area? A friend and i are considering going to evo to play casuals and maybe even enter the tourney to see how we do. Only thing is I really dont want evo to be first tourney I go to plus it would just be cool to meet some fellow players in the area. Thank you.
