  3. Jakou is mainly so you don't need to use the anti-air. Good for zoning and keeping your opponent's air options in check. Once they're in melee range though, it's usually suicidal to throw it out.
  4. j.214B on block/whiff is very very painful. I don't know if you'd want to risk that as an anti-air.
  5. Yo guys, I'm having a little problem coping with Jin's C Ice Sword oki game. So far, all I've been doing is waiting for the inevitable crossup/j.B attempt so I can 2C to oblivion, but apart from that, are there other options I should be considering? Or do I just block and pray?
  6. Nothing's more satisfying than a 214D~C hit in the middle of a blockstring. It's like, hell yes, I'm doing some ghetto yomi. :V I do not enjoy fighting against Litchi. Like, ever.
  7. Yeah, but then I forget to. 214D~A's pretty pokable/reactionable. If your opponent's kinda expecting it then you'll totally get hit. And if he IB's it, prepare to block since you're at a complete disadvantage there.

  9. Oh wow, I never noticed Buzama's pressure was all 2A > 5B. And now that I look at Zakiyama's, his pressure's the same. Oh man, I've been playing him wrong this entire time.

  11. 2C is like standard anti-air. Links to 4D on CH so it's not that bad, at least you still get oki.
  12. 2C so unsafe, wth are you doing man. :V My autopilot blockstring usually goes 2A > 5B > 3C > 214D~A. If that's not cutting it, I go 2A > 5B > 2B > 3C > 214D~A/C, or some variation thereof.

  14. I'm sad they filled up so fast, but at least there were like mini-tournaments. BBCT gift bags weren't so bad. :V Though I think the only reason I got Astrals in those were because no one knew about Hazama's command grab. It's like easymodo setup.

  17. Have some flashy: 5B > 3C > 214D~C > 5C > 2C > 4D~D > j.CxN > RC > 44 > 4D~D > 2B > 5C > 2C > 4D~D > j.214B# Though 2B could be changed to 5C if it picks them up.
  18. 80 percent of the BB matches made me die a little inside. 2 hit combos in my BBCS? What is this? And fullscreen Hell's Fang with no cancel on block is so beautiful.

  21. Note: I usually go with the I-hit-him-more-than-twice-before-3c-so-I'll-just-go-for-the-shorter-combo strategy.

If you're talking about hitting them in the air with it, it's totally dependent on their position in the air, or, if you're doing it in mid-combo, on the amount of proration (hitstun?) your combo has the moment you decide to go for the chains. If you think you've hit them too many times before the launcher, just stick to 1 hit. Don't get greedy. :V If you're talking about ground chains, you can only hit them with a second chain if the first hit was a counterhit.

  24. I'm looking forward to hearing a hell of a lot of "Serpent's Benediction" in all my matches now. :V Also, the C mash. It sounded pretty high-pitched. Fun. Small sidenote: Anyone going to AX? I was going to join the tournament but apparently all the slots are gone now. ._. Mirrors anyone?
