  1. Orbs of DEATH can be a pain, but on the plus side, it's not like Hakumen can spam projectiles from far away. He still has to come in to deal any damage to you so it's not like he's shut you down completely. Of course, if he has life lead then he probably won't try for that. Might also want to watch out for 2D since it can interrupt blockstrings if timed right.

  4. I dunno. It works for me. :V Though I think what's happening is I'm catching them at the end of the roll and they're just not blocking at all at that point.
  5. j.2D for air grab/RC combo shenanigans. 2D as a get-me-the-fuck-out-of-here button. Not much you can do about IB Jayoku but to keep playing the matchup. And I know you get more frame advantage if you IB in the air, but not entirely sure if there is one between crouching and standing. Maybe since you have to input jayoku in neutral, there's a few frames delay between crouching and standing?

  7. I do it all the time. :V On hit, you get to go into 214D~C straight to BnB. If they don't roll, you're pretty much stuffed. It's a high risk high reward move. Or relatively high reward I guess.

  9. Play like Ragna matchup and profit. And 2A is a good substitute for 3C. Although yeah, might want to only use chains when the distance between you is pretty far. Though I've seen it clash occasionally. Best thing evar: Bait Big Bang Smash, throw out Mizuchi. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  13. Waaay easier to connect this the higher they are when you throw them. Also, if you're finding it easier to do it on the left side of the screen as opposed to the other, then execution is probably also a barrier.
  14. If they're IN YOUR FACE, I would recommend quicktech > 2A. Other than that, it's just tech and gtfo. Hakumen astral can't counter projectiles. :V
  15. 5CC > 6B is a combo. So... wait for end of blockstring? No idea what the frame properties are tho. There might be enough time to IB > something, though it doesn't look like it. They should gatling I think.

  17. Watch out for 3CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC. That roll goes on forever. ._. (i.e. 5D is pretty unsafe against this character since she can just duck under it and punish)
  18. 2A + quick tech is usually really really good against people who are too aggressive. Abuse and reuse. Wakeup Jayoku is suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper baitable. :V
  19. Pretty sure the backdash is only low invulnerable.
  20. Online protip: No one can tech throws. Like, freakin no one. Even purple throws. Makes me so sad. Abuse and reuse. :V 66 > 3C is a lot easier to do the higher your opponent is when you throw out Hungry Coils since it throws them closer to you. Mizuchi isn't really height dependent. As long as you get Hungry Coils, it'll combo. It gets harder and harder the lower they are when you throw out HC tho. If people are baiting your 2C, you could just go for 5A. It's actually a really good AA and it's recovery/startup is a lot faster than 2C so you won't be in as much trouble. If you know they're going to jump up though, you probably have enough time to 214D~B. What I do when I'm trying to rush in and people are blocking my chains is to stop my chain before it hits them and fly in. j.5B usually has the length to counter people who throw out an AA in a panic, although tbh, I only do this if I really need to damage my opponent since this is still unsafe. If I have a life lead, I usually zone and wait for him to come in. Much easier to catch people's mistakes that way and get my knockdown. OH, there's also 66 > Command throw. Pretty much opens up anyone's defenses.
  21. If you're getting the wallbounce, you're close enough for BnB.
  22. You guys, if I was going to play on the analog, then I might as well play on stick. :V That dpad is just wut, why is there a circle under it? How will it differentiate my inputs. :V
