I play this matchup frequently and unfortunately forward dash has yet to work in my favor in that instance. So I'd say it's a no go captain. Also be very wary of blockstrings that end with Slayer's 2HS. I've had Anji IB the 2S during a block string and EX Fujin me into combo + knockdown leaving Slayer in a position he's definitely not fond of.

I don't know if there's a universal method, but I remember Jeff (Heidern98) showing me how to do low air throws via super jump motion back in GGXX/ and that's how I still go about doing them in AC.

Alright, this is going to sound scrub-tastic, but can someone give me an idea as to when I should be SJC a 5HS in order to go for a SJC combo? I don't know why, but whenever I try it's like a game of 50-50 and I just want to get it to 100%. I practice, practice, practice, but somethings not clicking for me.

This is a general question more than anything else and I hope someone can help me. I very rarely watch streaming vids, but when I do it opens up on the VLC video player instead of my Windows Media player. Generally this isn't a bad thing, but for some damn reason it tends to either be really choppy or just locks up half way through the video. Is there any way to have it set up so I can once again have streaming videos open in Windows Media player? If so how do I go about doing it? Any help would be appreciated.

For me Slayer vs. Testament feels like a boxing match where one combatant (Slayer) has to play minesweeper and fight the other combatant (Testament) simultaneously.

Quoted for emphasis. Slayer vs. Testament is a horrible mis-match but it's still winnable, it just requires a lot of patience on your end. More often than not you'll be spending more time blocking/dashing while slowly advancing with the hopes of capitalizing on Testament's mistakes with Link+BBU or DOT combos. It's a fucking stupid match, but something you're gonna have to learn how to play.

What's the effective method to mash out of dizzy/stagger in GG? Is it button based? Stick based? Mix of both? Always wondered about this.

You pretty much nailed it on the head. Most animes on air usually have a little snippet before the show reminding viewers to "Watch TV with the lights on and at a safe distance."

If there's one positive thing I've noticed upon the release of AC it's the fact that Sol footage isn't as prevalent like it was during the days of Slash. So I guess it's safe to assume the number of Sol players may be on the decline (in Japan at least). Let's hope the same can be said for the states once AC is made more accessible. I can, sadly, see people running to OS though with his new beef ups though. But I don't think it'll be that bad. *knocks on wood*

I couldn't help but notice that in a good deal of these matches the Potemkin player would hit Jam with a Gigantor after Slide Head. Is the dude just not blocking on get up? Or is the actual Gigantor mirror OTGing Jam? Either way, OTG or not it's still a free Slide Head into Heat combo 50/50 setup afterwards so it's all good.
