PSN/XBL - Ranked Character Usage / "Popularity"
MAdBater replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
seeing that list makes me want to pick up carl but if i do it "will be long way up that hill." Also when i watch zong one i get the same enjoyment that i get from watching high level hakumen matchs -
"1- 27F after super flash catch all blockable moves" it says on the frame data But it does not say when it does not catch which i would assume to be the same. Yukikaze does not superflash anymore unless it catches. http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcs2/frameData/hakumen.html

kof 13 i am going to have to buy it. It is fast paced and give me something to play besides Blazblue and other air dashers. I do not like most capcom games and i did enjoy 2002um. 13 looks to be the most interesting fighting game out side of air dashers to come out in last couple of years. But Maybe the real reason i hyped for 13 because I am a quarter Mexican and that suppressed portion of my ancestry is trying to come out. Maybe i will start playing that game and speak perfect Spanish the next day.

When trying to move in on a turtling or runaway opponent what are some good pressure strings. metered and unmetered pressure strings? Meaning if you have low meter and you do not want them to get away and zone what are good options. An metered pressure options that can possible lead to big damage. I know this means using the command dash and other things. I need to stop doing predictable jump ins and air dashing zoners. lambda, tager, platinum, and tsubaki are giving me the hardest time right now. Tsubaki is different from the rest in that i not know how to handle her pressure but the the others i do not know how to properly control a match and keep pressure on them. Tager i can do well against until a get hit from something then the tager player usually could run it back with resets and mixup that i have not figured out handle. Lambda and Platinum players aways run away from me and i do not know how to properly chase them down. Help me with any ideas please I want to get better.

it replaces the pcb in the stick so you can put it any stick.

Is the end of the cable missing? because xbox 360 controllers usually have a round quick disconnect so if you trip over the controller it will not pull the xbox down. I do not own a TE but they should be the same. http://www.dealtoworld.com/gallery.php?id=5102

most sticks work for pc and ps3 or xbox 360 and pc. Which is funny because most manufactures do not make one that works for all three. You might need drivers for a ps3 stick on pc.

In the psp story mode are there makoto, Valk ,and plat story arcs?

The game play seems too slow

Square gate arcade stick is the best for the execution of dps. Practice will make you king on whatever you play on.

There are converters for ps2 to ps3. Some custom pcbs are ps2 and ps3. I think i read somewhere it is best to get a ps2 stick and use converters to use on xbox 360s and ps3s. -
PSN/XBL - Ranked Character Usage / "Popularity"
MAdBater replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
The popularity seem to have more to do with how easy they are to play opposed to tiers. -
I going to leave this here. http://youtu.be/TihwvCVSUKc

It is still a high damaging overhead and has reach so it has its purpose.

I saw a match up list for hakumen and he was 4.5 to 5.5 match ups with everyone so when seeing that why would be low tier?
-
http://youtu.be/DJ1BmyEYW48?t Did you guys know you could rapid cancel jd into a combo? At 4:38s the hakumen player does a rapid cancel combo with jd.

Do that stuff that Blade recommended. One thing you can do also is just drop the subs and concentrate on your main. You trying to learn fundamentals and timing; not being a expert in a day. Learn to play Makoto, Hakumen or whowever against everyone. Makoto supposedly is high tier and Hakumen is 4.5 to 5.5 match ups with everyone so that mean you do not really have a advantage and it is your play style and skill that will make the difference. Grinding in training mode with 3 or 4 character is not good for a beginner or someone trying to learn basics. Also how you played with Hakumen is fine when zoning and turtling for meter but you just do not want to be predictable. You also just need to learn to press the advantage from what you were saying.

Inexperience and execution sound like your biggest problems. Work on execution first then experience will follow. One thing if you are using a controller and you are unwilling to use a fight stick put the controller in your lap. Use the d pad or analog like normal (personally i prefer d pad over analog even on the xbox worst d pad ever) but use the face buttons not with your thumb but with your fingers. You will be taping the buttons with 3 or 4 of your finger and you may become more conscience of you button mashing and reduce that. When i switched to the arcade stick you can hear the mashing more because when you do bbb 2aaa 236cccc you can hear it. Also if you are mashing combos probably mean you are unsure of your timing for the moves. With practice and discipline you can reduce the mashing. Also if you are falling for the same thing it is probably is that you are doing something punishable and not blocking. Figure out your moves that are punishable if you take some time thinking about it. Frame data will help but when playing or training just take notice of move with a long stall or which ones do not cancel in to the other one. Like with Hakumen you can do a 5a into 5b but not 5b into 5c. Blocking just practice and experience. If you see someone do this one thing and it is a cross up just learn to block it. When you practice combos learn their timing and everything but do not look to do that combo. Learn that if you can start that combo with something like 5c then go into the combo which is what they mean by hit confirming. Zoning and footsies are more important to learn at the beginning. Do the challenge mode combos because you can see the combo, learn your character's timings and some of them are bnbs. Remember Training mode is the most important part of any fighting game.

Extremely rare to see in stores. Go to those mom and pod video game stores and you might get lucky. But if no luck and you can not find it in a store, and you can not but it online; you might be able to get them to special order it at retailer. Really the best bet is to "buy it online". -
You have to be careful not to always hold the button for the command because you will keep the habit sometimes holding the button to long for moves that are able to be delayed missing a combo. use the 5 frame buffer but also tighten you execution with practice.
