  1. solo q is only if you have time to lose. a plus if you win tf is a cool guy, also expensive. saving up for akila+runes. tf tends to be free every so often. actually no, saving up for eve remake. or maybe the upcoming warhammer refugee
  2. I need to come up with a solo q build that let's me get wards on all the jungle creep so that I can steal them with my ult when people try to get them. Or someone should duo qq with me and place wards for me. Or maybe just takes eyes instead of mana, but then I'd have to adjust my items. hard to place on a team tier
  3. I think we could of won if the last 20mins of the game wasn't are tank and our dps alternating reconnects and disconnects. Though there was still the matter of the two other guys feeding the whole game.
  4. Ult at max cooldown and 1k damage with Blue Potion, still lose q.q

  8. so if k-groove sundays are dead, then you all should turn it into Sunny Sol Days and run a bi-weekly tournament opposite of st1ckbug's tournament. oh and name the tournament after me, and then I can not go to my own tournament, like st1ckbug

  16. Wii to PS2 should be fine, aside from controllers. A console port to arcade, I tell people to slow everything down. An accurate analogy would be to imagine (or go get) a rubber band. The rubber band represents a period of time within the game. Imagine/draw out your inputs, your frame-gaps, the frc windows, etc across the rubber band. The rubber band left loose would be that period of game time on a console port. The rubber band stretched out would be the same period of game time on arcade. Everything is more spread apart, windows are larger, etc. Whether it's difficult to adapt between the two, that's up to you. I opt to not adapt at all. /oldman
  17. names withheld to protect the innocent considering how little traffic the gg forums get, it shouldn't be too hard to find
  18. It's ok to post in threads that have been quiet for a long time. If a quiet thread is where your post belongs, then that's where your post belongs. close and far
  19. Ian, I haven't forgotten about you. If Ky does Stun Dipper a little outside your 2D range, you can block the first hit and jump between the second it. No 1f-jumping needed. Come down with a free j.H. If you IB the first hit, you get a CH 2S. IBing the second hit is a free dash up 2D, at any range. Regular block at max range, you get a dash up 2K, not sure if you can squeeze a little more distance to chain to 2D without it whiffing. And as with Matt, think of the implications if someone were to whiff a move in front of you, no matter how small. Like, if I can anticipate a seemingly random 5P whiff with a 6H, then surely you two can reaction whiff punish a f.S or something.
  20. Tell your friend that once they learn his tricks, he can now run a whole new set of tricks that abuse the learned counters to the previous tricks. And that if he setups up his trick layers right, they will loop back on themselves.
  21. sig updated
  22. Yo Matt, why I gotta do your training mode for you? Blocking Ky's Stun Dipper is a 2D, when in range. I suspect that at any range where you get a 2D punish, you also get a dash up 5H. And I'm talking about the second hit of 5H (11f startup) If you instant block the second hit of Stun Dipper, you always get a dash up 5H, regardless of range. Why does it feel like I'm telling you this for the second time? So second hit of Stun Dipper is -13 at best, -16 on instant block. Using you 2D as a reference: anything in 2D range that's 13 frames, whiff or minus on block, is a 2D or a dash up 5H punish. Anything hovering outside of 2D range and is 16 frames is a dash up 5H punish. Now that you are armed with this knowledge, there are quite a bit of key moves out there that are these numbers on block. Faust's f.S for example. Testament's 6H and 2D. Etc. And there are alot of moves out there that are these numbers on whiff. Think about that. Oh hey, Milla's 2H is 11f startup. Oh hey, you get a dashup 2H block punish on Stun Dipper. Wasn't that the first thing I told you when you asked me how to punish it? Does Millia still have a bad poking game or no unprorated combo opportunities outside of oki, now?
