Dropping in to say i'm still not dead, despite popular belief. I know i've seen dacid and copperdabbit at SVGL recently, but yeah. I'll just say i'll definitely be at the January install. I sold my BBCS setup and stuff (making to switch from 360 to PS3) and i should have a setup by christmas, and i'll be able to start getting better again! i actually planned on being at this month's install, but the 4th was too busy for me, as my birthday was on the 6th, and i had already planned my birthday things at SVGL with my technika bromo's and had rented out the machien for the day, so there wasn't any way i was making it to install that day. BUT I PROMISE ILL BE THERE IN JANUARY I SWEAR.

Im too occupied this weekend to come and hang out. but maybe next month! good luck to those who are going.

i can confirm this. the old limit allowed you to make videos 10:59 at the longest, the new one stops you at 14:59. i have about 25 videos up already that are between 14 and 15 minutes.

yeah, i was just mostly assuming not everyone was going to show up with a PS3 stick. all i have is a 360 stick, so i'll need to borrow someone's stick for my matches, too.

Truer words never spoken. Coming from the arcade music gaming community before entering the world of fighting games, it was always actually helpful an beneficial to go to these djmax tournaments we held at SVGL, and and it was actually helpful for me to watch people play once it narrowed down to the finals, and when the second tournament rolled around 6 months, i actually ended up doing well enough to snatch 5th/15 or so, instead of the bottom 4. Honestly, the person i had most respect for was at our most recent tournament for djmax tournament was the guy who placed dead last, but still stayed for all 6 hours of the tournament, even when we had people leaving in the 2nd/3rd elimination rounds because they didnt want to stick around. Not to mention that tournaments are more fun for hanging out with cool people and watching epic things happen, rather than being better than other people at a game. i'm positive im probably going to lose, but i'm looking forward to it because it's going to be an amazing day :>

i have 1 good extension cord i could probably bring if we need an extra or something. and uh, would my xbox setup still be wanted for casuals? oh, and i havent read the thread for about 35 pages. did i miss anything? i was down in SoCal.

I also have 2 Rock Ban mics, which sounds silly, but I actually use them all the time, and they actually have awesome quality. You just plug them in USB and it works. So I could bring my extra mics and stuff, too

i can bring a 360 with BBCS, and a stick with seimitsu stick + sanwa buttons. i also have a fullscreen CRT TV (lol) i could maybe bring if we REALLY need it. i have several spare foam mic covers. if you could maybe bring the mic with you soometime when i'll also be there, i can get you one that's the right size.

how does Team New Guys manage to lose to Team Even Newer Guys

so im going to be down in aneheim for a week a week from wednesday, and i plan on dedicating 1 day to visiting AI. i'm from NorCal, and im a regular at SVGL. ill probably mostly be playing Technika and BBCS, and a bit of IIDX and Pop'n. if any of you want a match, im 16, longish blonde hiar, and ill probably be wearing my black IIDX shirt. i also main noel. ill post again once i know what day i'll be there; i'm hoping to maybe be there all day on the 13th and 14th. looking forward to meeting a couple of you!

ill try my best to try making it to the next bi-weekly, considering i've never been. it's just kind of hard to make it all the way from morgan hill, heh

i can pretty much garuntee i will be there.

it would be easiest for me to make it on Aug. 28th, because i start school on Sept. 1st. but if not in august, the other 2 are just maybes. in the end, it'll just come down to how much homework i'm getting on average with all my classes. sept 4st might be 2nd best for me due to 1st week of school, i only have half of my classes, the others dont start until after the weekend of the 4th is over.

well, you could try seeing if when you rendered some of them as 2 tracks, you can seperate them if they got rendered as a stereo track, so maybe one is in the right channel, and one is in the left. i doubt it, but it's worth a shot. you can always upload the videos without commentary, too.

well, i confirmed ill definately be there for doubles this saturday, but once again, ill have to miss singles because ill be out of town (again) looking forward to hanging out, and remembering to not spend all my money so i can go to in n out or wherever with you guys after, this time, heh.
