So why did hardly anyone from the BB bay area scene show up for Dromstruction? I don't buy the "too poor" excuse when Dacid showed up and he's one of the poorest people I know.

Ramnation is an okay place to play since it's located in Fairfield, but the place has very limited space and is only run for about four hours. I can definitely work on running bi-weekly danisens at my house if people want to try danisen out. I'm not 100% sure on how they work, but from what I understand, they sound pretty fun and a good way to track how well someone is doing. Unfortunately the weekly sessions at GC are pretty much impossible for me. Paying toll both ways plus gas and then food on top of that makes for money I don't have.

The question is if people actually care about getting better or are just happy where they are now.

It might be. Point being is that NorCal BB is a joke and anyone thinks top 3 at the last NCI was played well... I just don't think people realize this.

I don't really want to go into too much detail, but pretty much our top 3 looked like SoCal's danisen casuals. I don't know how many are aware, but NorCal BB is a laughing stock for west coast BB. SoCal and PNW pretty much laugh at NorCal BB. NorCal BB is free compared to PNW and SoCal.

To be honest, the finals for top 3 in BB at NCI were embarrassing. NorCal needs to hella level up if they even care.

The state of NorCal BB is pretty ass. Do people care enough to get better, or are people satisfied with how things are now and are just going through the motions? Need ideas on how to level up NorCal BB. I was probably going to start playing seriously again when CSE comes out, maybe even host danisen sessions at my place. The only issue is that I'm pretty far from the bay area (about a two hour drive), but having a bi-weekly session should help people plan ahead for that.

GG or BB is fine if someone can bring a set up. I don't have a PS2 stick to play with though. ;(

Very unlikely I can make it to this month's NCI. I'll go if absolutely necessary but would prefer not to. If Willy doesn't want to run brackets, he could at least hopefully bring his laptop so you guys can use TIO. If all else fails, you can just use paper brackets. As for seeding, I guess you can just use last season's seeding results for this month's seeding. If this month's tournament is a ranbat, you can just use the results of this month's ranbat for the seeding for next month's. Feel free to ask questions.
