Is there a Leo Discord channel?
-
Thanks, that is awesome.

I find this match up a lot easier than CS1 as well. If you can stay around the mid screen area zoning him (236a is sooo good in this match up) he can't do that much. As mentioned before his chains have gotten faster, but it is definetly a lot easier to zone him IMO even if he gets in, he can't do much damage mid screen.
-
Can you make me a new Mu avatar? I am a little bored of this one. She needs to look hot, like in your one:v:
-
Yeah fuck what I said earlier. New Mu is siiiiiiiick. Her zoning has improved so much. 236a is GODLIKE. I didn't even know it kills Hazama's chains, that's how little I used that move in CS1. 5k+ corner combos, I am not complaining. I guess it took me a little while to get used to the changes, but I am a happy man now.
-
No, you're completely right. Being all about oki is what I loved about her. After she loses that, for me I just don't find her as fun anymore. As you said she's become a more simple character.
-
Am I the only one who feels Mu has become very dry now and 1-dimensional? Not so easy for her to get an untechable knockdown midscreen anymore, and her stein set ups don't work anyway. So it's literally zone them all day, or do your one combo that wall carries get them in to the corner and loop them til they die. I was very excited for the new Mu, watching videos and shit but after playing her... Just not liking the way she's been changed much... (I do like 3c being jump cancellable though)
-
^oh right I didn't know that. It still feels faster than in CS1. Maybe someone else with the game as well can confirm?
-
Is it just me or is Mu's run faster in CS2? Playing the PSP version that's what it seems like to me.
-
Thanks for the tips guys. I get impatient too quickly. I'mma try playing more lame.
-
Alright. I guess I don't remember reading that bit. All I remember was some guy saying u can set up like 4-6 steins and he can't do anything. But that isn't the case obviously
-
I have another question as well. Not sure if this is the best place to ask this but. The Tager match up is meant to be heavily in Mu's favour.. But I don't get how I'm meant to play it. I was reading through the match up thread for vs Tager and it says I can literally stand full screen and spam projectiles. But that doesn't really work, even when I try to be smart about it. He can just sledge through them. I find it better to try beat him with your normals and shit, but that doesn't work too well either. So what exactly am I meant to be doing. (this is still cs1 I'm talking about)

So what you're saying is (in CS1) that learning to IB itself consistently is important as is knowing when to DP your opponent. And the two sort of go together..?
-
How important would you guys say learning to IB > DP consistently is for Mu?
-
Yeah I know it isn't really useful seeing as everything pretty much just chains, but it's nice to know that it works anyway.
-
If those OSs work because the moves have different priority etc. Shouldn't plinking also work in this game? Or am I like completely off.
-
Are you guys gonna update the first pages of the Match up threads with all the write ups you are doing?
-
Yeah I guess you're right. Makes sense
-
Why exactly is the change GDLK to Mu?
-
Hmm there's one change I don't get. When people say faster steins, does that mean they come out faster or they recover faster? Or both? Also I heard the actual laser shoots slower after the stein being set, is that true?
-
Would you guys say with her changes for CS2 Mu can now rush down a little better? Or is it the same as before/worse than before? I saw a few matches where the Mu players kept the opponents locked in the corner pretty well with steins/blockstrings
-
So you cannot combo in to 6C off normal hit then. Is there anything you can do after comboing in SoD midscreen? I know there are some follow ups in the corner as I have seen them in videos. Correct me if I'm wrong but, you can't follow up after SoD in the corner in CS1 can you?
-
Oh shit so that's what "techable" means I didn't get that change at first. Well that kinda sucks. So is it possible to do stuff like 5b, 2c, 5c, 6c? Also what combos can you do that end in SoD?
-
Anyone know if the following works in CS2: 5b, 2c, 5c, 3c, 2b, 5c, 6c, whatever
-
Yeah I just watched them both. Nao seems to know his shit with Mu, best I've seen so far now lol
