Sometimes when I am on the ground at a certain distance, Eddie`s far drill hits me in the back when I get up. What should I do? Also when I am in the corner, getting up when there is a mine lying on the ground, the mix up with jump attack and the mine drill seem unstoppable for me unless I have a burst. I know the mine drill must be blocked low, but then I eat jumping attack or vice versa. When I do V. trust when getting up from the ground and Eddie is mixing attacks with shadow I always hit shadow and Eddie remains intact maybe I shouldn`t try VT at all...

Please, give me advice for my poor Ky I am trying hard not to do GS and Stun Deeper too mutch, but SD or 5S(far), SD are guaranteed punisher after so many things...it goes under a lot of stuff as well. Nevertheless I have the feeling I am doing it way too much.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I have ver 1.15 and I dont know how to deny to players that have already connected to me. Also seems I cannot soft reset to the title screen anymore. Is it because of the ver.? I can only deny to players with high ping beforhand in the lobby, but once they connect to me I cannot do anything but to restart the hole game. Any ideas? -

4r5 the link to the FAQ doesnt work. So you are saying that the arcade config is different form the default config for PS2? If I got this right this mean that kick button is above the punch button and the dust button is just to the right of the punch button right? -

I have a question about fortress defence and fautless defence. Yesterday when I played #R online I noticed that when I try to block normals with f defence somehow its easier to get the timing for just frame blocking(fautless defence with the blue lightning). During the VS play all happened pretty fast so I am not exactly sure. So is it possible that if you hold b or db for block and that just press fortress defence in the right moment of the opponent normal attack it will occur in fautless or just defence?

Can someone please explain what directions and buttons have to be mashed for normal stun recovery(when the red stick apears, but not with the white little wings). Is it possible if you are fast enough to stop Slayer from constantly command throwing you? I saw this replay: http://youtube.com/watch?v=PKfMfjFJEH4 Seems to me like this throw cannot be escaped with stun recovery. Is it possible to do this untill the opponent dies? I want to ask for weight classes as well. All i know is that Po is heavy and May/Jam are light.

I have problems with certain combo with Ky. After Dust I want to do homing jump S,HS and than land on the ground. I connect the S after homing jump cancel with F.defence but cannot hit with HS after that. If I try to press u or uf Ky gets into homing animation again. Any ideas?

Now I would like to ask some questions about certain moves which effect, I dont fully understand. Robo Ky: -Whats the function of the pink hole on the ground? I never got hit by the hole itself. Is it usefull in mixups? -Is there anything different about R. Ky`s tension bar except for the looks? When he slowly turns red, does he become stronger? Johnny: -What is the myst about? -When you get hit by 2 coins you will eat 9 hits if 214 S hits you right? Is there anything other about the coins to watch out for? Testament: -When you get hit by 236 KorP after that the Crow and Succubus attack randomly right? -Testament can set up 2traps with 214S and 214HS. When he activate a 3rd the previous 2 are deactivated but can hit the opponent. The traps are activated in the place where Tetament sets them(close to himself). Am I correct? When the opponent touches the traps they activate. My question is this. Is it possible that opponent can be hit with the grond trap if he passes true the air too close to the ground? Does it even activate? That question goes for the air trap as well. If you pass underneath it will it activate? -In purple state when you are poisoned, can you die from the poison itself? How long does the poison state lasts. Is it possible that the poison effect is reduced or taken away somehow by special occasions? Jam: -Jam stores power and a small dragon like icon apears below. Whats this for? Potemkin: -Is the ground pound blockable? I notice that people use it as an anti air. Does it have some high evade properties? -I havent seen this move in the command list, but Potemkin has some big yellow spiral-like projectile. From what I have seen it goes through and beets varios type of projectiles. Is it possible to beet this move with a projectile? For example Testament`s 632146HS, 236236HS or Ky`s double CSE 236HS FRC 236HS? I am asking all this about Reload. I think most of my quesions are pretty mutch fundamental, but if there is any particular difference in Slash or AC please say so.

That was really valuable. Thank you very mutch. Now i figured it out. So as far as i know the normals for Ky that are JC-able are in GGXX#R 5P,5S and 2D. Also 2HS in Slash. Are there any others? Now i want to ask is it possible ot JI moves without the actual animation. For example: I am on the ground and know that the opponent will be close attacking when i get up. I decide to go for 623HS VT reversal while getting up. Is it possible to do that: While getting up 5S,8or9(during the get up animation so 5S doesnt actually come out),623HS,RC,66 air dash

Sorry i ment HS VT(623HS). After i tried many different inputs its became clear that i do not fully understand the concept of JI. Here is what i tried: 2K,2D,JI99,VT,RC,66-Often result in jumping after 2D 2K,2D,6239HS,RC,66 2K,2D,9623HS,RC,66-Also results in jumping Is it possible to JI VT into air dash after single HS VT after reversal getting up from the ground? Can you guys give me and example with the exact imputs.

How can i air dash forward with Ky after 236HS,RC? How do people air dash twice(backwards and than forward)while in the air? I am trying to do it in XX#R. Is there any particular difference?

I did it but it still doesnt work. I d/laoded 1.09 than ver 2,3,4 which all contain .dlll file. I replaced all of them with the original files but nothing...

Same here I cannot start it. An error says "ggxxnet.dll not found". When i try to run the game with ver1.8 there are no people in the lobby at all. Was anyone successfull?

I was able to put it to work. Thanks Now does anyone have a clue how to create a lobby? I am trying to get more people around me play GG but since most of them are total beginners and/or have bad connections i want to make a lobby where they can meet and play.

Ok now i am able to see people but i cannot connect to anyone and seems like noone is able to connect me. I am using 1.8 patch. I tried with delay 4 and 6. How do i fix this?

Can someone pls post all the lobbys that are currently available out there? I get it to work somehow but i cannot see anyone in the lobbys i enter. I tried entering: www37.tok2.com/home/ggn/ggnlobby.cgi and www.nurupodensetsu.com/ggn/ggnlobby.cgi I have done everything according to the instructions and still cannot get it to work. I disabled firewall and entered exception port 1000 TCP. A friend of mine started it with the second lobby and with net-ver 1.7. Is it absoliutely necessary to use 1.8beta? Also i want to ask is it neccesery to enter the address of the lobby everytime when u quit the game? Thanks in advance.
