I have a question. If I have the EU ver. of Xrd can I play with the people that have bought the earlier US ver.? I made a thread about EU ver. Xrd PSN ID List here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php/topic/10914-european-verxrd-psn-id-list/?p=921497 From what I understand, there are some updates that are currently not present on the EU ver. which prevent people from crossplaying between EU and US versions. Is this cause of the lack of updates or crossversions play is unavailable altogether? Also is there some people here or in the googledocs list that have the EU version? Thanks in advance.

Love the P series, love arcsys games, love fighting games.

I need some assistance. I am really frustrated about whats going on in CS with my Hakumen. I have played CT and i got down the combos rather easily, but in CS its damn hard. I have a hard time with: -hitting opponent with 2a after air dash in the bnb combo. And i still dont understand whats the point of doing sj except from the renka 1, 623AA starter. -The situations in which Hakumen can hop 5A are a lot yet i hardly can capitalize on any of them. Jump A(or JB) after 5A misses most of the time for me(i dont think its cause of the online) -Jump C at the and of most of the combos doesnt connect. What is extremly irritating is that i loose to the same people that i used to beat like 10-0/9-1 most of the time in CT. At this point i am seriously considering dropping Hakumen(for Jin or something). I dont mind losing and stuff, but it takes great part of the actual fun of playing the game for me when i lose cause of missed combos... How did you guys made the transition from CT?

Is there explanation somewhere how exactly Hakumen`s force fields work? Situations, matchups, duration and stuff?

Ok i was able to somewhat get down the timing for 623a~a,jc,2c The problem that i have now is the super jump cancel after 2c. The motion that i am gonna try is 2~2c9. Simply pressing 1,9 after 2c doesnt result in super jump for me. What motion do you guys use?

I have trouble connecting j.C>2C after 623a~a. Either I whiff it or I am connecting it too early and the opponent recovers. So far my biggest success with this combo is in situations in which I start with C>623a~a from a very close distance. Its almost the same with 6D reversal. I see people jump in with j.C combo starter, but it doesnt work for me except when I am up close. Please help thanks

Are u sure it works with GG? The only games on pc that I was able to record with fraps were the once running with Kega Emulator (Sega Genesis Games). Anyway I will try it and see what happens.

3 questions. -Can someone explain to me Baiken`s reversal seal effects? -In AC is it possible to block during the initial part of an air dash using slash-back? I have noticed that if u sb after a.dash, the character remains in blocking animation for a short time after the sb is over. I have a question regarding 1frame jump. I never really tried to learn it before, because I thought there are more important things to learn, but now I want to get into it. I do 7,p+k and this results is the char. jumping in place with FD without any cloud coming out of his feet. Is this what is suppose to happen? Can it be performed forward or backwards? May I ask for some most common, typical situations in which 1f jump is used? Thanks in advance

I don`t know much about Zappa and I cannot play him very well. However I want if its possible someone familiar with Bridget to explain to me wtf happened in the 3rd round of this game. I did overdrive on wake up and he did his aiming for oki probably (the pedo bear bicycle thing overdrive). You can see how Zappa`s overdrive went right through him. I know that overdrives tend to have invincible properties, but that situation looks very weird to me.

I want to know is there a patch or something that allows you to use Ex-Characters in training mode? There are many people that are saying that they wont play me unless I enable Ex-Char. I have no desire of playing Ex-Char, but since I have to face them on some occasions, I want to see their moves and capabilities. From what I have seen so far Ex-Testament is a beast.

Here I am playing against a real tough nut. Cannot read his name, but imo he is very good. Some of the matches are pretty much one sided(to his favor).

I am always happy when I encounter him because there are hardly any good Bridget players in EU region. At least I haven`t seen any except for him.

For some reason soft reset (start+select+4 shoulder buttons) doesn`t work for me in the PC version??? And for some reason whenever I try to minimize GG window the game is still running. ====================================== EDIT I just found out what works for me. I couldn`t soft reset because of the rotatory axis setting (config.exe>joystick settings). Now when rotatory axis is turned on I can soft reset just fine with start+select+4 shoulder buttons. The other method is similar to Dubious start button method, I just use alt+tab. This works for me, thanks

Since 2008 SBO will include Hokuto No Ken discipline once again, I guess that means that some people that used to play the game, or maybe some new once will be interested to read some stuff about it. I know that this forum used to have a HnK section, I am not asking to put it back on, I just want to know if there is some kind of archive or back up for the HnK threads. The particular thing that interests me is the original button layout for the jp arcades.
