  5. normally i use 22c or hf ender.. but many combos will not allow hf ender unless you omit the second belial which may or may not be a good idea - personally i always go for it if possible - having extra meter opens up a lot of mix up opportunities
  6. so, anyone have a solution for late tech roll forward after axe kick in the corner? j.B doesn't hit them if they tech at the right time, and i think a backwards air dash would leave you in a very bad spot if they react to it
  7. tsubame isn't RCable on block, 360a is only invuln on frame 3 or something, and ID.. is good but has a weird hitbox and will whiff on some crouching attacks jin's 623d is probably the best if we're talking about reliability..

  11. if you're not having fun with top tier go find someone who slaps your shit for free with a "balanced" character, and keep playing them. who gives a shit if you play a top tier character? as long as you have fun and look to improve, you can play any character you want and not be guilt tripped by people who blame tier instead of skill. tired of ragna's boring combos? use different combos. tired of his play style? play a different character. tired of losing to top tier characters with said different character? improve and find out what you did wrong. there is nothing wrong with bitching about tiers, but bitching about tiers and blaming them 100% instead of trying to improve is terrible, imo. unless you play rachel/tsubaki (even then you can still improve.) it isn't even like ragna has absolutely one sided match ups (.. excluding bottom tier, but they have horrible match ups with everyone.)

  16. mm, if you're doing near max range TK GH then you'll probably have to delay the 214d even more & dash in 5b 6a. i think what i do is buffer the dash after 214d and just hit 6 5b. not very helpful, i know
  17. yeah, my bad, read it wrong. chances are you aren't delaying 214d enough, if the 5b doesn't connect. 5b 6a from TK GH combo does not require a dash on half the cast, so try delaying 214d more. the timing on the 5b doesn't matter most of the time, just do it asap.
  18. er woops well.. just keep practicing it, really. if you find that your stick resets to neutral too slowly, don't touch the gate
  19. fatal combo for when you misjudge distance on 2c -> 3c and realize you need to do a 2b combo FC 2C -> 3c -> 2b -> 5c -> j.C -> j.D -> j.C -> j.214c -> 5d -> 22c -> [5b -> 3c -> 22c]x2 5125 damage and 22c ender for oki.

  21. is there any specific reason for doing j.C -> 7j.C -> j.214c or 6D -> j.D -> 7j.c -> j.214c or do japanese ragnas do it for no reason

  24. bang is probably more fun, with command grab, nails, and double air dash litchi is debatable. either way, double dead spike fatal is now my favorite fatal!
  25. need more flashy combos. every combo is basically 5d into 5c/6a/j.B into belial now :<
