Oh i forgot to ask something about the combo question above its about the 2C + boost then IAD... boost + B, air sai. I was wondering if there is a particular FRAME in the 2C + boost for the best and fastest start for the IAD? For example after an ground sai it takes 2 or 3 frames before raoh goes to crounching neutral when you dont attempt a 2A after the spike. Thanx in advance -

Need a answer to this question first look at the video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01JVuKiWpz0 Pay attention from the beginning of the infinity combo up to 19 hit. Well i managed to pull of the IAD boost plus B, air sai AFTER the 18th hit a couple times. The one thing that puzzle's me whenever i start the combo at practise mode (i start when the opponent is against the wall with practically no space between the opponent and the wall, so i start from the corner, i do not start from the opposite side of the screen like in the video) After the 19th hit and continue 10x2A after ground sai, there is no space between the opponent and the wall, thus this means i cant do boost behind and air sai him to continue my combo. How is this possible??? I did everything as supposed for this particular part of the combo. Does it has to do something about, where you start this combo? PS:I use the PS2 version of the game. Any advise/help..... Thanx in advance -

Thank you for the reply Fethennour il try that setup you wrote to me the next time i play. Never tought of this set up, its obvious the opponent has to turn arround, and that takes time. Time enough for me to link 2A after IAD jB. Thanx. -

Guys i need some help (advise) with raoh. Most of the time when i attack with IAD + jb, 2a, 2a, 2b, 5d, cancel into cd. The problem is i do have a confirm hit with IAD+ jb but with 2a the opponent can recover from IAD+jb and thus punish me especialy with characters who's punches and kicks come out faster then with raoh, i mostly cant connect 2a after IAD+jb i tried faster input but with no real succes. Is there a better way to perform it? Thanx in advance. -

You mean like 214 AND then 8? or do you mean 21478 like in a smooth motion? I do know what tiger knee is hell sagat was one of my main characters! But still i tried it with Raoh endlessly. If its 214 then 8 il try that next time i practise. Any way thanx for the reply Mr.Mamation.

I have a question for you Gwyrgyn Blood . Its about Raoh here is the problem: First i do a setup combo and finish with 10x2a, 2b, 5c, 5cd, boost (to get behind the opponent) in order to airspike the opponent i did 8214d. But after searching the net, this isn't the best way to airspike the opponent because this technique only apply to certain characters. (and not all of the cast) The best way to make sure you airspike all of the cast is to "tigerknee" it > 2147d. Well i tried it. But instead of an airspike i get a super jump. So my question is whats the exact way "technique" to perform it properly, without doing a superjump. To be honest its kinda frustrated to be stuck at this part of the combo. So can you give me some good advise? Thanx in advance.

Thanx bullet ballet yeah its true alright you have to IAD forward, finally i managed to pull it of once yesterday. But darn! its freakin difficult to pull it off. first i tought connecting 2A after airspike was difficult then there was that second launch then j.A, then 214D that to was difficult. But nothing beats this (up intil now) 2A, IAD, jB+boost. Still have a lot to learn... -

Thanx for the reply's guy's il look into it, i tried that IAD after the last 2C but it doesnt look like the jump (IAD) in the video so what am i doing wrong? I tried IAD back and IAD forward.... -

I'm pretty sure he used a boost while doing 2C, look at the boost bar it depleted some of the boost bar while doing 2C and whenever you use a boost there is always that red light flash, to make clear you used up a boost. Here is the complete combo: 2A, 2A, 2B, 5D cancel into CD, 6, 5D, 623C, 2C+E(?), jB, jB, 214D, 2A, 2B, 5C, CD, 2C+E(?) and then it becomes complicated thats why i asked my question.... -

I saw some videos from Pharaon92i and one got my attention here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObMl5cTOnXI&mode=related&search= Since i play Raoh and want to proceed to bigger combo's i found some difficulties, if you watch from 00:07 to 00:09 he does 2C+E then he jumpes back/up then forward/down + j.B, 214D. I tried it my self but i could not pull it off i tried IAD back and forward then j.B i also tried jump + E then j.B in order to connect to 214D all of them failed. So my question is what is the exact way to perform this kind of jump? (input terms) as you can see in the video after 2C+E. So any help is much needed thanx in advance. -

I found a very interesting thing about the banishing strike and did some research in the raoh topic and in the odds and ends topic. (And yes i know this was mentioned before but i still dont understand). So i tried it for my self. But with no succes. So i came back here to reread it all again, still no succes. Its about canceling f.d into CD, here is a video tutorial link pay attention from 01:12: http://youtube.com/watch?v=GUM5x8fDOUA it seems so easy but its not i dont understand what it means to "kara cancel" from third strike. Can someone explain to me how to properly connect (kara cancel) CD after f.D in simple words? thanx in advance. -

Much credit for your effort for trying to explain to me some good setups, already used some of your combo beginnings like 623A, IAD is starting to come out beter and beter. I watched the video altough i am not ready for the complete set up but the grab alone is a good setup for a combo, il try that out. What i experienced about other characters they are more easy to begin with like shin, souther, kenshiro, rei. I used rei and kenshiro, and they have some easy setups (good opening)for a combo. I think raoh is not for beginners, but when you master him bit by bit i think he can be a BEAST at the end. -

Thanx for the fast reply Gwyrgyn, il see to it performing IAD as an opening. It seems IAD is very important for a pressure string to find an opening, i tried that charging 623A and its a good opening for a combo. I still have a lot to learn though. -

Can someone give me a good beginning of a combo, (not a combo but an easy opening for a combo)is difficult to find an opening although i can do decent combo's with raoh but i dont get the chance for it (find an opening) and the 2a, 2b, 5d, 623C, gives me a hard time because after 5d the 623C wont come out as much as i want to, can some one help me with an easy opening for a combo? And a nother thing its hard to counter with raoh al my attacks comes out slowly everytime i want to counter like for example if some one makes a mistake he's still faster then me. Thanx in advance guys. -

I tried those setup combo's and it works great! especialy 2A 2A 2B D CD 6 then bounce etc. And 2C works great as a "launcher" but only in certain combo's. I do have one problem, when ever i charge up (corner) and do j.c>charge, then 2c, jump again (Try to) j.B, 2C, jump again etc, etc, if i am lucky il hit the opponent with j.b. But i cant finish the combo i tried everything, but nothing helped until i watched some videos of this combo. It seems they do a little FAST dash in the air then j.B. I use a ps2 gamepad but its almost impossible to do a little dash, without screwing the combo. Is it the pad or do i have to use a stick? Or is there a way to properly perform this combo on a pad? Thanx in advance -

So what is the best combo choice? like example c.A, c.B, 5D, 623C, launch, J.A, J.C, J.C, air spike, 2A, 2B, 5C, launch or 2C? whats the best way in order to airspike the opponent after a decent pre-combo then launch then 2A airspike again? without missing the second airspike. I tried it countless of times i only pull it off when i am lucky. And thats the ps2 version. Thanx in advance -

Well i managed to connect 2a after a wall spike, but when i succesfull connect 2a, and do 2b, 5c, launch, j.a, air spike, i mostly miss the spike. Because of the super jump? So i tried this one out after a succesfull 2a i do 2b, 5c, 2c, j.a, spike same problem here i dont do superjump but instead i miss some times i connect j.a but dont have time to connect the spike because at that time the opponent is already on the ground. Is the ps2 version somewhat different then the arcade? or is there a way to perform better? -
6HS a FRC... . Why should you waste tension on 6HS except for PB? Or did you ment only FRC for PB? You can do without FRC, You can cancel 6HS into hammerfall, FRC, 2HS, HPB (corner), You have to practise it though 6HS, hammerfall. But it will reward your efforts, very effective thanx to Gwyrgyn Blood. A nice setup for slidehead wich most of the time works very well: (JS), P, K, S, (HS), slidehead. Unless they perfect guard it wich doesnt happens alot. IB is a pain to master so practise, practise, see it as parry in third strike....

You got that right when you say: Those variations can be killer (to both sides -_-). it's a 50/50 chance. Trying to ques will bring you only to a certain point, when you quessed wrong then youre screwed, since some of the setups dont work for me most of the time. I tend to master Instant block then PB, backdash PB, or retaliate with PB when someone makes a mistake. But yet again if you play against people you dont know then all the above setups will work fine, atleast i think so. What i heard of potebuster in accentcore, its faster now perhaps better opportunity's for setups to PB without the opponent escaping so easy as in the other guilty series. Hope as fast like in Alpha 3 with zangief piledriver setups....
