Is everyone here really that stupid? Seriously, I don't think the shit I say is that obtuse. If you all weren't narrow minded elitists, maybe you'd notice the point literally has nothing to do with any character in the game, and that I just want to be able to enjoy my matches. Turtles are boring as shit.

Hakumen also has one of the longest lasting (slowest) air dashes in the game. I can't express to you how often I get j.B when I go to barrier after a dash because of its length. This usually leads to easy pick ups off of Nu swords.

To play a bit of devil's advocate, there are people who I won't play specifically because of how they play. Turtles and someone who is going to spend 95% of their time upbacking bore me to death, and I will spend extra time finding someone I enjoy playing against more. Granted, I usually don't send messages about it though.

The thing that always wrecked me in that match up was the damage he got off of his overhead. That thing has near Zantetsu level range. It's a good idea to pay attention to the kagura players drive habits. His drive chains aren't gapless, so you can do things like 2D if he ends his chains with 5DA, or the fact that his overhead has a lot of start up, and if you predict it, you can get 5D out to counter. -

Is Renka(1) our best confirm for 3C CH near the corner? Having a hard time overcoming my 3C addiction from CP, the rewards were just so damn good. Here, it's obvious they really want you to work for anything more than 3k-3.5k off a 3C CH. Also, 5C air hit confirm into OD for 9k damage to snatch a round from Jin in the most evilest ways might just be enough to keep me playing this character seriously.

It was more for pressure or mix up than anything else, but yeah, gurren > zan seems especially useful in this version.

I was actually hoping that with the new speed, the recover might be fast enough that you could still get away with Zan after, but the gap is huge, so you see most follow ups from a mile away. Maybe a couple of 4Cs back to back will condition them to respect you long enough to pull zan out instead.

I can't remember their name, but I played an Izayoi this last month that might have been playing on a dance dance revolution pad with all the fake out teleports they'd do. That, or they're actively trying to get carpal tunnel. It was actually real funny to see Izayoi just phase shifting in place 2 or 3 times and then come out into a dp or something. Point is, that's definitely the most netplay Izayoi I've ever experienced.

Some good punishes worth remembering, but I couldn't help but laugh at how crazy it makes the proration on Hakumen's moves look in EX.

I had a friend who used to play EZyoi during 1.0, and that was actually fairly common in our matches. Most of the time I remember it being because the box on Izayoi's 5B would extend past, but in the vid, he's catching her just as she's coming out of the teleport, so I don't know what weird overlapping might be happening there.

Since they didn't seem to fix the original issue with it, here are the ones I know it doesn't really work on in CP1.1, which probably means it's still true in CPE. Azrael Amane Valk Kagura Pretty much all the floatiest of floaty bastards. It works on Azrael sometimes if you get him at the max range of the 2B pick up. Not sure if this is true of other characters.
