  1. It's an arrangement of the Velvet Room theme dating back to Persona 1, which predates Supernatural by three years. That said, the melodies do have similarities, and the blues arrangement definitely brings out those similarities even more.
  2. You can also punish the A version of Maziodyne with 214D on block, even from full screen, I believe. You can 214C/D under the B version during its startup. The A version has lots of recovery but little startup, the B version has lots of startup but little recovery.
  3. Sincere apologies to anyone who I've disconnected on over the past couple of days. My internet's started to become really flaky recently for some reason; it's really frustrating. I'll be sticking to offline for a while until I can figure out what's going on. GGs to everyone in ranked regardless though.
  4. Awesome, great timing. Can't wait to get in some matches tonight.
  5. Atlus USA announced on today's livestream that the patch is in the middle of Microsoft's cert process, so hopefully it'll be out very soon. (There's no way for them to know exactly when it will be available, however.)
  6. P4:U has been confirmed as a part of the SBO lineup this year. :o http://www.tougeki.com/
  7. Definitely excited for this. I doubt we'll have much of a local scene for it around here, but if the netcode's good, I'll be satisfied.
  8. I'm pretty bad so Pool 8 people lucked out
  9. As the stickied FAQ mentions, do the 22A/22C earlier than you think you need to. Also make sure that you hold the 22A/C for about half a second; any shorter and it'll whiff, any longer and they'll be able to tech out.
  10. Hey, I played you a couple times on ranked yesterday. Good matches, nice to see other Tsubakis out there (even if you do use MAH COLOR).

  11. Haha your avatar is amazing

  12. From training mode (all done from neutral, so proration should not be a factor): 236236C: 2213 236236D (0 charges): 1477 236236D (1 charge): 1845 (+368) 236236D (2 charges): 2287 (+442) 236236D (3 charges): 2765 (+478) 236236D (4 charges): 3057 (+292) 236236D (5 charges): 3367 (+310)
  13. Too bad I'm getting the 360 version. Oh well. Anyhow, to keep this at least somewhat on topic, I'll be looking forward to playing some of you online. Thanks also to Ginseng for the (present and upcoming) enhancements to the stickies on this subforum!
  14. Those are some fine words of encouragement.
  15. Pretty much exactly this, except replace "Rachel" with "Tsubaki." I liked her character design even back in CT's Story Mode, her CS storyline is interesting (if a little depressing), her attacks look cool, she's got a good theme song, and she felt very natural to pick up and play. No contest.
  16. *looks at Bang* *looks at Litchi* ...I think you may be on to something here. In any case, I don't care that she's underpowered. She's by far my favorite character (and has been even before she was playable). I'm just repping her regardless, and waiting patiently for the day she gets her (well-deserved) buffs like Bang, Litchi, and Hakumen did going into BBCS.
  17. I'm pretty sure you were trolled. That's OK though :D I'm not aware of any fighting games that have actual numerical priority for any moves (I don't really play SNK fighters, but I would assume this is true for them too). Smash Bros. has something *kind* of like that where a significantly more-damaging move can beat lower-damage moves if they clash, but that's the only case I'm aware of.
  18. Priority in that sense (the idea of a numerical priority value or some such) doesn't exist in Street Fighter either -- it's all about hitboxes, invulnerability frames, startup, etc. I believe both games are pretty similar in that respect.
  19. Seconding this request. Thanks in advance if you can make this happen!
