  1. Pretty sure the "play vs" patches takes the same space, you need the data for it to work. How can you fight Valkenhayn when the sprites aren't even on your console?
  2. Err? I don't own the 360 version but for PS3 the 1.01 and 1.02 patches took like 180 megs or so. The DLC might not take much but that only unlocks to play as him. You still need the actual character data as thats not on the disc.
  3. I'm not an expert on how M$ does things, but i know for a fact that you can't make a game which is not playable online with every version of the console. Some people only have like 512mb of memory and the play vs Valk and Makoto patches (not the actual DLC) both will be mandatory to play online after he is released (ranked at least). Maybe this has something to do with it? Since i really can't see another reason why its not out yet. Every other game for 360 which has DLC you can ignore the DLC and continue play online with the exception of title updates, which never takes a lot of space only a couple of megs.
  4. No, both Rachel and Platinum (from what i've seen) is more in your face than Dizzy. Dizzys rushdown consists of what? A throw and some cross up shenanigans?
  5. Arakune mid tier what? Anyway, yes these nerfs are to much though, he would have been fine with a damage nerf since 10k combos are op. Especially when he has like 5 100% curse setups. But these changes cant be final, both Arakune and Bang looks to nerfed now imo.
  6. What about Bang's 5A?
  7. Hotaru its better than Jyakou, but these two is in a league on their own.
  8. Isn't a Dampire the child of a human and a vampire? Since i really cant see how Ranga is one since i haven't seen anywhere in the story where this was mentioned. The bite from Rachel affected him some though, his eye got red, so i guess you could say he is not 100% human either.
  9. ^ Why would they take out a DD? I think we all knew that wasn't going away, they will probably make it more useful though, since atm its pretty useless.
  10. Potemkin - Eddie is like 7-3 for Eddie. And the character Potemkin is a monster, but he is far from unbeatable, hell half the cast got loops that pretty much oneshots him.
  11. Tager should be hard, IB 720 on a pad is probably the hardest thing to do in the game, or maybe i just suck, much easier with a stick though (i switched to stick 6-7 months ago).
  12. The things i saw was, try to keep you opponent in the corner, i saw many combos where you could have kept them in the corner if you didn't finish them. Also that Jin was jumping a lot, punish those jumps with 2Cs or a back dash. You should instant block more and you really shouldn't be hitting buttons in block strings, unless its a reversal move to punish something unsafe, but stuff are usually only unsafe if you ib or if you opponent likes to throw out unsafe moves during block strings. And that Hakumen player was pretty bad imo.
  13. The stick on a arcade stick isn't even analog, if it was, not many people would be using a stick imo.
  14. Noel was nerfed cause Mori plays her and he didn't want her to be good, CT noel in CS would god tier more or less so she needed some changes, she got nerfed to much though. Rachel was probably the character out of the top 3 who received the least whine yet they nerfed her to oblivion. So i don't think they listen to the whine of their players, Ragna was becoming overused though, so maybe they want don't want like 50% of the players to use the same character, i don't know. He hopefully will get better before launch though, since he wasn't that bad to begin with just a bit on the easy side to play.
  15. Haku-men is not easy, he one of the most strategic characters in the game and his links are hard for BB combos. If 6B was comboable it would scale badly, it already does i think, since when i actually land a blue beat combo after that it doesn't lead to more than 2k damage or so. Edit, he is however a noob basher, but so is Tager and Ragna.
  16. The only characters which they walk over are low tier (Tager) and maybe Rachel in Carls case. The definition of op imo is when half the cast is at least 6-4 in your favor, neither Carl nor Hazama is like that imo. They can win every matchup, they can also lose almost every matchup. Can't get much closer to balanced than that.
  17. Haku-men doesn't have any matchup where he dominates except maybe vs low tier characters, which will be buffed in CSII. He will not suddenly become S-tier if everybody above him was nerfed, Bang and Litchi needed nerfs, the Ragna nerfs are a little bit harsh though. Carl and Hazama is also pretty balanced imo and they only get mild nerfs (so far we don't know how the final version will look). PS. They can nerf the hell out of Arakune and he will still be op in some way, trust me.
  18. Yeah 6B should combo when its a overhead. I don't really see i point for that attack atm.
  19. Haku-men in CS is the most balanced char in the game imo. He doesn't need nerfs and seriously i wouldn't call any of those buffs, 5D is almost worthless since almost every situation it can be used you just do jD instead and jD are usually followed up with 5C which is special cancelable, so it doesn't really change anything imo. Snow animation on yukikaze is imbalanced though, nerf!
  20. @ Blade Funny you got Hakumen in your avatar with that attitude, if he is indeed your main, you are missing out. He is probably the character that gains the most for going for the hard combo. You can do more damage with 2 stars than doing a scrub combo with 5. He has some of the trickiest links in the game imo.
  21. 6-7 frames is pretty much guaranteed to come out after you ibed something, look a houtenjin it is also 7 frames i believe. This move is of course not as good as a DP, but its not far from it imo. Edit. Also i think its actually slower than 7 frames (the chair that is) but its still a pretty good escape tool if you have 50 heat.
  22. ID might have been a bad comparison since it has huge range, but most other DPs are easily avoidable if you predict it, like Jins C DP.
  23. Thats like saying ID should do 5k damage with 50 heat, you don't do chair unless you are sitting on 50 meter already imo, which makes it "safe" its still punishable on whiff, but so is every reversal move.
  24. When you do that combo, you cancel the 3C with a A-Lobelia hence the one hit part, they just left it out, forgot it i guess. It is possible with 1 wind, especially that early in a combo, sometimes you need 2 though, so 1-2.
