  1. That combo did "decent" damage in CS too, not 5k but i think you could almost reach 4k with that, which is a lot considering how terrible Rachel scales. In CT that combo did like 7.5k if i remember correctly.
  2. Apart from his damage and the fact that his BNBs is much easier now, he didn't get that big of a change from CT to CS, so big changes aren't needed to make him balanced imo. Edit. By more damage i meant longer combos, if anyone gonna start listing everything that was changed about him.
  3. Or jc B, 360B or 3C its anything but unsafe on block unless its Instant blocked, jump canceling removed isn't necessarily a bad thing though, since now you can 720 it.
  4. Wow where do i begin; the dash "links" as you call them are fine, it actually makes the combos hard, you know so that every character cant be mastered in 1 day in training mode, its fine. Online it sucks though, but online should never even be taken seriously the game is meant to be played offline. Haven't played around that much with the training dummy, but i'm pretty sure if you actually program them to tap a button during a block string, the command will come out when they are out of block. Basically record a character taping 6B for example, then activate it while the dummy is in block stun, the move will come out after they are out of block stun, so you can see if the move was safe or not. They shouldn't get hit if you have blocking set to everything, but i can be wrong.
  5. I actually hate fighting CS Litchi more, not because the fight is harder per se, but in CT there where a lot of matchups that where harder than Rachel (Nu, Arakune and Carl) in CS there is no char i hate more than Litchi, not even Bang or Arakune.
  6. I didn't say her combos was easy, but seriously if you know your BNBs you already at least decent with Litchi cause of what they lead to. Most other characters, BNBs will only get you so far. That said, there are some really advanced tactics with Litchi.
  7. Err no, bnb into corner, distortion free oki. At least Rachel has to plan her oki both are pretty retarded though. Plus Rachel had a bad matchup which has Nu. Litchi walks over or is equal to everything.
  8. Judging from the changes i've seen so far they are going in the right direction, with the exception of more Lambda nerfs WTF? Not saying that all of these changes are fine, just saying that its not the mid low characters that are getting nerfs, neither is anyone getting the Rachel treatment so far.
  9. Even if you air barrier its very unsafe, like a free "insert your characters best fatal" unsafe.

I think Hazama might actually have slight favor vs Litchi, her biggest (probably only) weakness is that once your in on her, her defense is mediocre, i've even seen Litchi's get bodied by Tager, cause he is pressuring her without her staff and even with that she only has one reversal. The problem with Litchi though, i actually getting close to her since her godlike range, Hazama doesn't have that problem. Also her corner traps are risky if you are sitting on 50 heat.
  11. Got no opinion of the matchup, but doesn't her jump 2C (or whatever that tail attack is) beat Lambdas 2C? Also the slide beats all of Lambdas pokes if she is midrange and her distortion makes you unable to do anything except blades that will hit. I think you can parry her projectiles and the ball destroys spike chaser. However as i said i don't have an opinion as i haven't played the matchup myself more than once or twice and my Lambda is shit.
  12. Err, he probably has the best anti tech roll in the game, save for Tager with a buffered 720.
  13. ^ Cba quoting the previous post, his a overhead is always comboable except if your opponent doesn't duck, who gets hit by an overhead while standing? Houtenjin loses only to moves which gives your opponent invulnerability, but nobody throws them during block strings since they are usually unsafe, its not a real DP but a very good reversal cause of IB, it can be used as a "DP" to, but it trades with a lot of things, however unless Hazama dies its always worth the trade. Hazama is a zoner so his midrange game can always be managed cause its so easy for him to reposition, his normals are quite good up close though, not Ragna and Bang good, but still awfully good for a zoner. Also his damage is sick, its meter dependent, but when he has meter its godlike, like 5k out of anything.
  14. First of all Hazama vs Hakumen is imo pretty bad for Hazama, but anyway a character with the whole roaster of even or close to even mathcups are usually A-tier like Jin in CT.
  15. How is Hazama S-tier when the only character he bodies is Tager? Every other character is even or slightly in favor/disfavor for Hazama , if you are skilled you will do good with him since every matchup is very much winnable, but S-tier characters usually get a lot more for free. Also Arakune feels really strong to me, yes he has bad matchups, but he still bodies like 80% of the cast when played right. Might not be S-tier, but for me he is the most scary character after Bang and Litchi.
  16. ?????????? Command throws are only techable if your opponent messed up the setup or if he accidentally counter hit you when he was just trying to land a regular hit, like 5A into 360B with Tager, they are avoidable though, but not techable.
  17. Her damage is pretty sick even without the parry loop. I fought one online yesterday, in the corner, at least 6k from everything with meter. Midscreen 4k+ again he didn't do the parry loop once. With the exception of Ragna with 50 meter any DP is a free 720 or 360 if you except it. Not saying Gadget Finger is anything extraordinary, but if your opponent does DPs after it they in for a world of hurt. He is not top 3 since its clear that Arakune is better... Some might say Ragna and Hakumen also, but imo its Litchi, Bang and Arakune thats top 3 all S or maybe S- in Arakune's case, Hazama is A or A+ fighting for 4th spot with Hakumen, Ragna and Carl imo.
  18. IB > Houtenjin does 5k + damage, not exactly new, but the most recent tier list is from like February or something, so anything is more accurate than that.
  19. Err, after 6C you are in the air, here you want to do j D then 6A when you land not 2B.
  20. ^ Lambda is a tough cookie to crack, but i used to fight a really good Nu in CT with Rachel (impossible to win with Tager) and i swear in that game it was just as hard if not harder.
  21. Tager - Arakune is definitely 7-3 for Arakune. I swear that Mu - Hakumen is also like 7-3 for Hakumen. Also it feels like Rachel - Carl is like 7-3 but maybe i just suck with Rachel, every other matchup is winnable imo though, even Litchi. I only take into account when i fight people that knows the characters, scrub Arakune's is like 9-1 for Tager.
  22. All 3 DLC characters will probably have an arcade mode in the arcade version, which comes with a little story, will they patch that into the console version though? I don't think they will have a story mode until at least the next BB, whenever that comes.
  23. If you fight a good Arakune 1 hit = at least 50% curse and don't tell me you go around and perfecting every Arakune you fight since you don't... He is pretty bad once he is getting rushed by most characters, but one mistake vs Arakune and you are cursed after that its game over. Bang, Litchi and Lambda are really bad matchups for him though, but outside of those 3 matchups he is definitely the most scary char to fight for the other player.
  24. @Blade Hazama is easy comboable if you sitting on 100 meter only problem is why would you sit on 100 meter? But the same can be said about every astral so its good. Haku-men beats throws so its very good, the only thing it doesn't work on is some projectiles, it does work on chains from Hazama though. Carl's astral is basically a death sentence for Tager, but outside of that don't see much use for it the doll counts down really fast though. Taokaka doesn't need heat for tauntloop O_o her astral is nothing special though. Makoto's astral is the best in the game, only astral that comes close is Tsubaki. Rest of the characters i pretty much agree on.
  25. Everybody can escape Tagers astral by just mashing 5A, the only way it is good is in a combo. Some characters AH like Tsubaki's are really good though since its so easy to combo into. I land that a lot, also there is nothing better than Haku-men's astral vs people that are not ready for it.
