If 623S crit > RC > instant kill is not getting touched he could end up pretty high since you can combo into that vs the whole cast everywhere on screen with the right starters. -
Time for arcade exclusivity, is usually 6 months. And since they don't have a big story mode this time, i would not be surprised if we see a console release for both PS3 and PS4 within April of next year. Now the real question is, is the PS3 version gonna be a patch or a completely new game? My vote goes for the latter.

If by "neutral tech" you mean rolling backwards in the corner while you are magnitized then sure there is "no way to escape this setup" except you can just roll forward or quick rise, or just delay your tech. Why anyone would ever roll backwards when near a corner is beyond me though.

6B should probably be a buff, 90% of the time it only used in combos anyways and it supposed to be faster now, which should mean more combo potential.

I always take these types of changes with a grain of salt, like i knew those Rachel chances had to be false, game been out forever, they not gonna make big changes to a old character like that out of no where. From what i've read though it seems they want to make the game more defensive which is a bad thing imo. And ODGC is gonna be broken as hell, i guess i should be happy as i play the character which is gonna have the most use out of it (ODGC > 720 gonna make people cry). But this also removes all of Tagers "preassure" as most of his moves are out for pretty long, which means any decent opponent will be able ODGC his strings. Hopefully if they let it stick they make it really bad so you cant really use it in a middle of a string, but just to punish stuff that are already minus on block to begin with (like hakumens 3C).

Jump canceling 6A would be pretty strong imo. I know we could use more tools, but i don't think arcsys want to give Tager too much tools, considering they don't want him to be too strong.

I heard CT can be used in combos after 2C, which would be great, cause colider kinda sucks now, unless you are with your back towards the corner. I have seen some Tagers use CT outside of combos, to get a free 360 on guard crushed opponents.

Lol at that Mu combo, i know its not really practical cause how often do your opponent get hit by a raw stein up close? But i bet they will find a way to combo in to it from a more useful move.

He does indeed, but the problem with this is that he uses overdrive, which means your opponent cant burst. Mugen combos, has always been lethal, but way less practical (cant really start from a hotaro) and burstable so.

If they made those changes he would actually be good lol. Have yet to play this game obviously cause i don't live in japan. But so far it looks to me that he works better than in extend. The only thing that i don't like is how little damage you get of a AC outside of the corner. This character will always have problems though, cause like half the cast is most likely always gonna be a bad matchup for us.

Getting to level 3 drill and connect an actual attack with it is not that easy. Also there is barrier, which you should always use vs the drill.

Overdrive has no recovery, already seen Tager players using overdrive to set up 720. So overdrive into 6D into mugen, shouldn't be that hard to set up. Big gamble obviously, but if you know 6D wont connect you can just not do it. Now i don't know if 6D was nerfed anything, but it was quite easy to set it up into mugen before. Also overdrive combos isn't even burstable, so this can actually be useful, obviously not gonna get used often, but its definitely more viable than 2 gold bursts.

Only PS3 version confirmed so far. But i am pretty sure there will be a 360 version, however in Japan, it looks it will be PS3 exclusive, which makes sense, cause the game is basically non existent (sales wise) on 360 over there. I would not be too worried about a 360 version coming to the states though. I'm personally praying that the PS3 version is Region Free, so we wont have another P4A fiasco. Europe hasn't gotten the game yet and its been out for almost 6 months...

If you have a TE stick the default layout is correct. A C B D Thats the layout that is used in Arcades.

Well BB got an Evo spot when it was new. Then it got 1 again last year. Persona 4 is much better received than BB ever was, so if there is 1 anime fighter on the next Evo it will be Persona. Heck even Melty Blood was at Evo once.

Probably been mentioned before, but cba to read through 59 pages. I looks like every character will have 4 bars now (except for Hakumen). Which probably means, everybody will have special drive moves like Jin. Also burst looks like they recharge, which is good. Since i find myself seldom early bursting in BB, which helps you keep the momentum, i already see a lot of people do it in P4A.

Lambda is dead, but that doesn't mean the character is gone like how Nu was switched for Lambda in BBCS. Mu is Noel and she turned back to Noel at the end of CS so she probably wont be in the game story wise. Anyway, both characters (in some form) will most likely be playable, they just haven't announced them yet as they can be seen as new characters kinda.

PSP version doesn't even have the same challenges as the console version.

You should never follow a tier list like its law and Arakune has been stupid in every game, but we gotten used to it.

I think Valk looks pretty good, CS1 Valk was broken. Now he looks pretty good, but not excellent. And his damage is still great. The Wolf form looks just as scary as before, did they nerf that anything except the damage?

Lol @ beginner mode Tager, walk forward > 720. Wish we could do that with regular Tager without buffering it in a normal.

Tager + 6B is fatal counter. Saw it in one of the videos in the video thread.
