  1. Thx, yeah, I give up oki nearly everytime. I was fucking nervous (I'm a really bad tournament player). The drops where mostly online Problems, which you can't see when watching safed online matches via the theatre. I should have captured them directly. And you're right with my 5C habit, I'm fishing too much for it as a counterhit starter. Yes, those panic D's are typical for me and I often end up getting waltzed over me. I'm glad that someone exactly covers my self-analysis, thx again. I always fall back into those things when playing tourneys, in casuals I play more like someone who does his homeworks.

  7. No, that is a combo afair (haven't played UNIEL quite a time), I mean e.g. 2A on block>too fast performed Assimilate. I have to apologize, command throws will work in some combos but will be gold throws in blockstrings if performed too early.
  8. Only when they're golden, like the purple command throws in BB when you use them while the opponent is in hit- or blockstun.

  13. I wouldn't say that there's an optimal playstyle dmg.wise. It depends imo on the match up, the situation, etc. Also imo Hakumen was always about fundamentals, but had nice bullshit as a bonus in CP. You could shit out specials without being worried too much about meter.
  14. What I meant with elites is considering a char/game dull/not dull on the basis of how hard the execution is. That's simply wrong and the kind of behaviour that makes people keeping their distance to the GG community, even if they're interested in GG.
  15. A character is suddenly accessible for a larger bunch of players and that's going to make a character duller? That's the elitist attitude the GG community needs to stay small.

  17. You can cancel a counter into Zantetsu, there was at least one vid with a Hakumen doing it. Can't remember in which though. Or do you mean any counterhit into Zantetsu? That's something i'd like to know myself.
  18. Maybe that just means that Hakumen is not that dumb anymore. From what I've seen, meter management is back to CS2 times.

  21. From reading the changes I feel sad but I'm curious how hard all the nerfs hit Hakumen compared to the few buffs he got.
  22. @Soviet Bear, the 12k combo was done from a full charged 6C. Not that practical.
  23. I like the changes so far, something into enma>5C>kishuu>2C>loop could lead to solid dmg and, dependig on how many reps are possible, good corner carry. Zanshin specialcancellable can be devastating if proration is not toning down the dmg too much afterwards.

  25. @Soviet Beat: CS2 Hakumen was not more interesting than CP 1.1, imo he was not really fun to play with. And earlier versions of Hakumen did less dmg? In Extend he was able to deal 1613 dmg from a anti air 5A without using Magatama or with 2 Mags 4k dmg from a tk hotaru into corner, same was possible from raw Zantetsu for 3 Mags. In CS1 there was a saying that you had to deal 1k dmg per Mag. Even in CT he was able to deal high dmg, although he lacked everything else. I miss old 6D sometimes though, but in 1.1 he's imo well balanced.
